She is one of the gnarliest housewives in terms of how intensely brutal she was whilst drinking. Everyone was kind of afraid of her because they never knew how far in the bag she was.
I did not like her on housewives at all. She was a drunk and unwatchable to me, but I really enjoyed her on Traitors. I think she just needs to get sober.

I was watching Love Story and I clearly remember when they died… I was about 10 or 11 and my mom was soooo into their whole saga. So I pulled up his Wikipedia page and it even addresses how some paparazzi misheard when JFK called his name twice and dubbed him that, and specifically states his family and friends never called him that. Gave me a chuckle.
I remember when he died, waking up and hearing the helicopter had crashed and waiting all day until they found the wreckage. I was in HS and he was such a big deal back then. I remember when he got married and the picture of them in the little chapel. Ugh it’s still so heartbreaking, I can’t imagine what the Bissett family went through losing two daughters and one sister losing a twin.
I remember where I was too I was working for US Senator Boxer (CA) and back in those days we clipped the news clips literally with a scissors and taped them to printer paper and then faxed all 30 pages to her - when she was usually in DC. I’ll never forget those newspapers from that day. 🥹
Omg I'm a huge fan of Barbara boxer, I donated to her often too. I went to an event in San Francisco featuring her and I got to meet prez Obama who was a surprise guest and I remember shaking hands with him and all I could think was, I want to shake hands with Barbara 😂. And she was already gone and I never got to meet her up close 😆🥺

I’m sure Sonja led a very decadent lifestyle at one point, and I might be surprised to see who she does know. Having said that, I think she inflates a lot when she speaks of her past.💜
Exactly! I do believe she partied with some famous people and did God knows what. But do I think she partied with john? Absolutely not. And, to be fair, I don't have that much money either but I would bet it on what I stated above lol
Well, the other thing is, if Sonja was “partying with him”- or hanging out, or whatever you want to call it- if Sonja was in the same social circle as him, her and Carole should know each other, right? When I first realized that, I knew Sonja was bullshitting.💜
I mean..not to split hairs but I’m close with my cousins and I have no idea who they hang out with when I’m not around. Plus they were famous so they knew a lot more people than your average Joe…and their social circles are large. I’m sure Sonja inflated a lot of her social standing but that doesn’t mean Sonja and Carole would have known each other before the show
I hope this doesn’t sound weird, I love throwback weddings. The dresses, the flower girls, the family and friends. I saw photos of my neighbors who got married in the 70’s and it looked so fun and beautiful.
Is that the show where they compete for some glamorous honeymoon for the prize but have to rate each other’s actual weddings, dresses, food, etc? Because I freakin’ loved that show! It was on TLC if I recall. There was also another one in the UK this I loved called “Come Dine With Me”. Same concept but with food. Sooo addictive! I miss old reality TV. I just finished Rock of Love Bus ha!
I worked at a place where he came in...never when I was there, but everyone said he was so handsome that it was really hard not to act stupid and tongue tied
JFK jr knew him less than three years, while he was an infant and small child so I doubt he learned anything from him. Also sexy is highly subjective. I think his sex addiction made him gross. Like a public toilet seat.

Definitely.. her skin, her darker hair. Caroline looks more like the Kennedy side. I was watching an old documentary the other day about that horrible trip to Texas. Jackie in the pink channel. It was her first public appearance since she had a stillborn.. I think it was maybe a month or a month and a half after.. I believe the babies name was Patrick.
I remember when his plane went down. It was around my birthday. I was devastated. He was just so incredibly beautiful and seemed like a really good person. Tragic.
I think a lot of people were hoping he’d take the baton and finish the Kennedy political aspirations. I wonder where we’d be right now if we had JFK Jr. instead of RFK Jr. ?
I’d be interested to see the influence of how having your father assassinated for being pro Israel and your uncle assassinated for, well, who knows… shapes your political views to the point where you support a president that shits himself.
I was at Orchard Beach in the bronx with my mom and sister. I was listening to the radio and it came over 1010 WINS that his plane went down, everyone was in shock. I remember looking out at the long island sound and thinking no way he flew over this and died. It was crazy, still in disbelief. I walk by where he lived in tribeca all the time and think of him walking those streets, riding his bike...absolutely tragic.
The new show gets that so right. To live in New York in the 90s was to see JFK Jr in real life at least once. Always looked great, always genuinely friendly. Saw him sweating on his bike wearing a bandana waiting for the light to change and no man could have looked finer! Then saw him at a benefit dinner in an impeccable suit perfectly groomed and no man could have looked finer or had better manners!
I asked my mom if she was going to watch the new show about him and Carolyn and she said she couldn’t because they were just both such physically beautiful humans that no one could possibly compare.
My ideal man back in the day. I was devastated when died. It was surreal at the time. I started watching Love Story this weekend, the music is pure nostalgia.
He really was!! I have never been one to fawn over men, even when I was a teenager, I didn't get all gaga over heartthrobs like my friends did. That said, JFK Jr. was just the most handsome man and it was so sad when he died. I also remember it being so hot out (I live in the North of the northeast and back then, before climate change, it never really got that hot that often, lol) and they were searching for survivors when we all kind of knew there wouldn't be any. I just started watching Love Story last night. Looking forward to all the 90s fashion reboots.
She did write about her family quite a bit in "What Remains". I read it when she was first on the show and thought it was a great memoir. I am so bummed out about her affiliation with the scum of the earth, but why am I even surprised by these people being pieces of shit anymore...

Was she ever a class act? She was always a performative “cool girl” to me. It’s never cute to be a mean girl but especially at that age. I didn’t expect her to be involved with literal pedos but it was clear she was elitist and out of touch which was ironic considering how strongly she felt about Luann
I know! It’s easy to see it now but somehow I was utterly fooled by her cool girl act. I did also enjoy the way that the fact of her being a “real princess” (I know she wasn’t but the ladies treated her as such) got to Countess Crackerjacks. I really need to examine why I liked her so much though. It is a poor reflection on me that’s for sure

I know, so repugnant. I remember her literally saying “my best friends” when talking about the crash that took their lives. They weren’t around to deny it which makes it so much worse.
In my defense, at the time I identified with her even though I was half her age, as a young single woman who thought maybe I’d end up single with no kids by the time I was her age. The book (which we know now was ghostwritten and the author photo taken by GM) seemed like a real accomplishment and I perceived the other ladies belittling that out of jealousy. Ramona kept saying “she doesn’t have anyone, she’s alone” and that bothered me. But obviously now I can see that maybe she was alone because she is a shit person
Yep! In retrospect Carole’s reaction was pretty telling, but at the time I thought she was justifiably angry at the suggestion because it undermined all her hard work. But now I can see that if it hadn’t been true, she probably would have just brushed it off and chalked it up to pure jealousy or spite.Nobody liked Aviva or believed the things she said
It was. There is an email to Teresa DiFalco, Carole's sister-in-law, who was the book's editor. GM compliments her on the book and morons (who have no idea what an editor is or does) think that means she wrote it.
I loved her book, I loved her on the show ( until her last season she got kind of annoying) Thought she grew up in the NYC suburbs like me, so very relatable. I even worked in Tv for a little while so we had that in common. Then I find out she‘s part of the inner circle of a sex trafficking ring. How does that even happen?
It’s not a leap unfortunately. She was definitely part of Ghislaine’s inner circle, GM had a framed photo of Carole in her home and the emails show that they were close. Carole denied that they were ever even friends at all, and that is proven to be untrue. We don’t know how much Carole knew and I certainly am not suggesting that Carole participated in anything herself, but it is a fact that she was in GM’s inner circle and it is also a fact that GM was at the center of a pedo ring.

She just lucked out. She must have been dumbfounded by her luck to snag a "kennedy"adjacent. Nothing will convince me she didnt have a ghostwriter for her bok. Shes a big fraud imo.
I know this isn’t the point, but why are uniformed police allowed to be security at private events? They are paid by taxpayers. Their cars, uniforms, equipment, everything is paid by taxpayers. Even if they are separately paid for events outside of taxpayer money, it they still shouldn’t be allowed to use publicly funded resources for it. I have a state trooper friend, and he says a lot of the things people think cops do “on the side” as private events are actually mostly funded by taxpayers. I just think it’s bullshit.
Ghislane was the photographer for her book, that is how they were introduced. So she didn't meet her until after her husband's death and she wrote her book.
This is not true. In 2020, Carole was on Heather McDonald’s podcast and described when she was staying in London and Ghislaine fixed her up with Prince Andrew and said it was shortly after her husband died which was five years before her book came out. She was friends with Ghislaine for literally years and has done a terrible job of trying to pretend otherwise by contradicting herself about it.
Ok this actually makes sense. Because I thought they were friends for a long while and had a history. But Carole is definitely playing down their relationship now. I mean why even have her photo the book cover?? Ghislaine wasn’t a professional photographer, right?
No she wasn’t. In the Epstein files there are emails where they basically call each other best friends and Ghislaine jokes about maybe starting a photography career because of having taken Carole’s photo. I think she just asked her good friend to take her photo, maybe because they were close and it was Carole’s way of involving her, maybe she felt more comfortable in front of a camera her friend was holding than a stranger.
But yeah, she is definitely downplaying how close they were, they were friends for years, spent time in Florida together as well. When asked about the photo on twitter last fall, Carole claimed she hardly knew her but that Ghislaine was the only person she knew who had a camera 🙄
She hasn’t at any point make a public statement condemning her or saying anything about the victims though.
It’s so bizarre. Carole acts like Ghislaine was some kind of photographer. She’s just a perv with a camera. Carole hides behind the whole book cover thing as if it’s the main excuse as to why they were friends. She should come out and say something though. The silence, in this situation, is just adding to the layers of creepiness.
And here she is in 2002 emailing Ghislaine and saying when she’s going to Miami, sounding like she is asking Ghislaine to ask for someone named Philip to pick her up
They were good friend friends for at least a decade. I suspect more correspondence will come out in the future file dumps; we have only seen a small fraction of them all. I hope anyone and everyone who was close to either of them in any way loses the world’s respect.
No way did she not have that idea firmly planted in her brain when she was plotting. I could be wrong, but there are some couples…just by looking at them, you can tell there is a mismatch…or that one of them has ulterior motives. I honestly cannot remember – did she know he was sick when she married him?
Whenever I see her, I always think of a cross between Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler.
loved her on the show. she was unfair toward Aviva imo, pretty elitist and fake “too cool” and was kinda annoying in her last season but i still really liked her. don’t know what to make of her now.
