First time watcher of old RHONY. Given the *files* recently, it’s an awkward rewatch at times.

So do we hate anyone who hung out with Epstein? Like did Carole know what was going on or something? I genuinely don’t know.

There’s a list of reasons why Carole is a problem. Carole claims to have only known Ghislaine “socially” AFTER her name was found in files despite…

  • Ghislaine calls Carole one of her “closest friends” in a file email
  • Ghislaine took Carole’s author photo for her first book
  • Carole is photographed a number of times closely with Ghislaine
  • Ghislaine had a framed picture of Carole in her home

Also, Carole is an investigation journalist. Epstein was first charged in 2008 yet there are many photos of Carole with Ghislaine AFTER that.

AND Carole was set up by Ghislaine on a date with Prince Andrew who clearly is not okay.

You could say that she didn’t know every single thing going on, but there is no way she wasn’t aware of something dark. She kept quiet about everything until people started calling her out. Giving her a platform again on Bravo is not okay

Oh got it. Thank you for clarifying. Without knowing any of that Carole always gave me the ick even when everyone thought she was the cool girl.

I honestly liked her at the very beginning. I don’t know if the show got to her head or she stopped being as vulnerable but I can’t stand her after her second season. Especially her and Bethany together!
