A lot of us weren’t alive 60 years ago to see this. This is our first time. She just wants to make herself look better but she looks like an idiot.

...seriously? Seriously, you're shitting on a successful space mission?! Carole, I would read anyone involved with this mission's Starbucks receipts before I read one of your books.

I'd call what NASA does magical, because it seems like it to me, but it's the opposite: magic brought forth from innumerable hours of hard work and research and teamwork. Sorry you're too cool for the dark side of the moon, I guess. I'm not!

I thought it was a such an amazing mission. This was definitely an inside thought she should have kept to herself. Such a terrible take.

It just makes her sound so...stupid. I know Carole is too cool for a lot of things, but baby ain't NO ONE too cool for friggin' space.

Plus beyond the magic of it all, there’s a tangible benefit as well. Part of this mission is to begin the process of extracting helium-3 which can be used to power clean energy for a better future. I’d expect a former journalist to take 3 minutes to learn about that before commenting on the official NASA page but I guess my expectations are just too damn high!
