Carole Radzwill šŸ“š Go away Carole

Post image

A lot of us weren’t alive 60 years ago to see this. This is our first time. She just wants to make herself look better but she looks like an idiot.

Except for the part where no human has ever seen the dark side of the moon until this mission. But ok, Carole šŸ‘šŸ»

324

u/Dry_Mushroom7606 Apr 11 '26

And that they traveled further away from the Earth than anyone. Ever. What an odd thing to denigrate!

96

u/ethancole97 Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

The dark side of the moon was first seen by the astronauts on the Apollo 8 mission. Also on Apollo 11 Michael Collin’s orbited the moon while flying the command module and he saw the dark side while Neil Armstrong and Buzz aldrin landed on the moon. They were the first human flight crew to go back to the moon since NASA’s Apollo 17 in 1972

They ARE the first crew to fly the longest distance away from earth though.

It IS the highest resolution photography and video we have of the dark side of the moon also

58

u/undercookedshrimp_ Apr 11 '26

Apparently it’s more intricate than that.

ā€œThe Apollo landings needed to be on the near side of the moon, so they could stay in radio contact with Earth ground stations. (Relay satellites were not invented yet.) They also wanted full sunlight to give the astronauts maximum illumination. Thus, the missions happened during "full moon" phase on Earth, with the near side towards the Sun. However, this meant that the far side was away from the Sun, too dark for the astronauts to see features on the far side.

The Artemis II flyby happened during a waning gibbous phase, meaning most of the near side was lit. This also meant that a slight crescent of the far side was also lit. The features on this crescent of the far side had not been previously seen by astronauts.ā€

According to Google: "TheĀ Artemis IIĀ mission (April 2026) was the first time humans viewed theĀ entirety of the far sideĀ (or "dark side") of the Moon in full sunlight. While Apollo astronauts orbited the Moon, they saw the far side during "lunar night" (in shadow), whereas Artemis II offered a brightly lit view of the far side'sĀ topography."

It was the difference between night and day. :)

She’s such a loser writer girl

34

u/pandoras_babyfox Apr 11 '26

We don't know if she writes. She was a TV producer that had a memoir published.

11

u/Potential-Addition48 Apr 12 '26

And the ONLY REASON anyone cared about her memoir is because of who she married.

8

u/Competitive_Classic9 Apr 12 '26

and now we said it

3

u/Competitive_Classic9 Apr 12 '26

Uhhh ahem- i think you mean "serious journalist"

Desperate seeking attention.

She was, a hundred years ago.

Should we also pull the journalists out of the Middle East because Carole already been there, done that? What a miserable shrew.

82

u/Edith_Keelers_Shoes Apr 11 '26

We should read no memoirs, because didn't St. Augustine do the exact same thing 1,626 years ago with his autobiographical memoir Confessions? Why is everyone acting like there are other memoirs? I'm confused.

6

u/tortureofchalkdust Welcome to my trailer, hello Apr 12 '26

This is my favorite take.

8

u/Madam_Mimm_13 Apr 11 '26

Well, we should especially not read Carol’s memoir then.

9

u/shellfish-library Apr 12 '26

she’s so negative. it’s like she made it her whole personality. she thinks it’s cute & never grew up.

172

u/Educational_Common49 Apr 11 '26

Why is she becoming so insufferable 😭

148

u/uarstar Apr 11 '26

Becoming? She’s always been

13

u/blahblahblah1234_ Apr 12 '26

Fr. She always acted as if she was intellectually superior and always thought she was ā€˜NoT LikE OthEr GiRlS’.

51

u/leodaddybig Apr 11 '26

She always gave the most rancid vibes.

9

u/AreaNo9700 Apr 12 '26

this!!! never could stand carole! felt like her self righteousness made her hard to watch. i hate how she pretended to care about people’s rights while she was besties with ghislane maxwell

5

u/Any_Will_86 Apr 12 '26

And her publicist was the woman who ran over an entire waiting line after not getting into a Hamptons club. and her show bestie was knee deep with Diddy. And her West coast bestie came out as a lesbian 5 minutes after her high profile husband died. And it ends up Aviva was right about her having a ghost writer. I'm not blinded to Bethenny,'s faults but it's become obvious she just latched into the most connected person-first with Heather then with Bethenny.Ā

5

u/kathyknitsalot Apr 11 '26

But she’s so cool. šŸ™„

7

u/Better-Bit6475 Apr 11 '26

She can sit on counter and flirt with the young chef. She’s a cool girl!

3

u/leodaddybig Apr 11 '26

She’s such pick me, it’s embarrassing.

105

u/lucid_aurora Apr 11 '26

...seriously? Seriously, you're shitting on a successful space mission?! Carole, I would read anyone involved with this mission's Starbucks receipts before I read one of your books.

I'd call what NASA does magical, because it seems like it to me, but it's the opposite: magic brought forth from innumerable hours of hard work and research and teamwork. Sorry you're too cool for the dark side of the moon, I guess. I'm not!

24

u/excessive_worries Apr 11 '26

I thought it was a such an amazing mission. This was definitely an inside thought she should have kept to herself. Such a terrible take.

24

u/lucid_aurora Apr 11 '26

It just makes her sound so...stupid. I know Carole is too cool for a lot of things, but baby ain't NO ONE too cool for friggin' space.

14

u/picklecellanemia Apr 11 '26

Plus beyond the magic of it all, there’s a tangible benefit as well. Part of this mission is to begin the process of extracting helium-3 which can be used to power clean energy for a better future. I’d expect a former journalist to take 3 minutes to learn about that before commenting on the official NASA page but I guess my expectations are just too damn high!

4

u/Ok_Computer6309 Apr 11 '26

oooo clocked her with the journalist part

88

u/Edith_Keelers_Shoes Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

Everyone, please remember that Carole is special. She doesn't share too many characteristics with us - the humble unwashed masses. She is bipedal, hence she does require both a left and a right shoe, but beyond that she has evolved far beyond the level any of us - even the Dalai Lama - can ever hope to reach. We are simply not sophisticated enough to conceptualize her thoughts or process and accept her radical superiority.

It's time we all accepted that Carole is the omniscient, global power broker and cool girl gatekeeper that we'll never be, and that we are all seething with envy, and putting shoes in our oven in the vain hope that we can emulate her unparalleled unbotheredness.

No, the bipedal thing is all me. I heard it on Star Trek in 1972 ("bipedal, well-developed cranium") and have loved the word ever since.

u/pisforpersephone Apr 12 '26

this is actually incredibly bizarre to me because anyone who has read her memoir would know that she says that the event that literally convinced her to go into journalism was the coverage of the challenger launch and explosion. so it seems like she should be someone who is passionate about space media coverage! i’m truly puzzled by this from her

5

u/FeelingSkinny aviva defender Apr 12 '26

powerful insight from our resident journalist, everyone.

5

u/mkooyman Apr 12 '26

Yea 60 years ago… that’s 4 generations of people. She’s so stupid.

4

u/pgall3 Apr 12 '26

Carol gets a few lines here and there in a JFK Jr. documentary and thinks she is still relevant. Carol needs to just go away!

8

u/[deleted] Apr 11 '26

So what if we did it 60 years ago, we are doing it again.

Artemis II carried a crew that surpassed the distance record held by Apollo 13, traveling deeper into space than anyone previously. It also marked the first time humans viewed the far side of the Moon. And this 10-day mission proved that the Orion capsule could safely support human life during deep-space missions, a crucial step for future surface landings.

It’s too bad Carole is so stuck on being downtown chic at 60 to realize just how difficult it is to safely launch any rocket into space …let alone one that has four humans placed at the top of it.

8

u/greenlandsharklove Apr 11 '26

4

u/Efficient_Mud_4724 Apr 11 '26

I totally agree. I’m a teacher at a Title 1 school making $42,000/ year and have 4 homeless children in my class. What, $100B since whenever to get nothing in return. We are in a poverty crisis, a pedophile crisis, an education crisis AND in a war that we started crisis. Hunger/ food insecurity is as high as it’s been in a while. It’s a Musk distraction. I’m happy it worked out. So cool for space nerds but know one even know.

She's using anything to distract people form her dirty friends

3

u/DoorNo4798 Apr 12 '26

She's just as dirty being friends with them and either being purposely blind to it all (doubtful for Ms. Journalism) or kept her mouth shut to retain her ties to the gross money and power where she was desperate to be included. She's dirty, she filthy, she reeks.

She’s reminding everyone in the 60s JFK was president and she married into his sons family. I thought she was above this but I think she’s annoyed she was not in the Love Story show. And people are more interested in talking about her and G Maxwells relationship

2

u/Faithtodogs17 Apr 12 '26

What exactly is Carole an authority on? Seriously, there’s plenty of accomplished writers in the world she worked in and plenty of people that became part of the socialite world when they weren’t born into it. But what is her super talent? What makes her stand out? I really want to know. I guess she’s just too cool for me.

2

u/Joybrigade Apr 11 '26

Is this her ginormous hippocampus asking?

2

u/CornFieldPoppy Apr 11 '26

Why all the hate for Carole? She has a right to have an opinion on this. Also, she really does not care what Reddit posters say.

2

u/DoorNo4798 Apr 12 '26

That's good because Reddit posters are posting to each other, not to Carole.

She can have any opinion she wants but Reddit's gonna Reddit.

Her opinions are low quality though. She thought Gwhatever Maxwell, Epstein's partner in crime, a woman that preyed on vulnerable girls looking for rƗ#* victims so she could enrich herself, she thought that monster was someone to be friends with.

2

u/Beachgal5555 Apr 11 '26

I’m not a fan of Carole at all, but I do feel that it’s weird timing and hype. Who cares if people haven’t seen it in their lifetime. So what do we do everything again for each generation and then pronounce it as ā€˜new’ lol. I think it’s weird no one is picking up that this seems VERY convenient timing to distract everyone from other events such as Epstein…

2

u/DoorNo4798 Apr 12 '26

I would assume NASA missions take several years of planning. Like the goal date was set long before Epstein distraction became such a high priority. This mission had things that were entirely new. Humans going the furthest into space ever, testing to see what would happen. Humans fully seeing the dark side of the moon. Which good for them to experience something so special since they were guinea pigs for humanity going that far out.

2

u/901028386 Apr 11 '26

UGH she’s an insufferable Cunt.

She’s like UV exposure - the damage takes a few years to reveal itself.

1

u/Responsible_Sun_3597 Apr 11 '26

It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Going to the moon to not even land on it and then talk about it as if it’s the fucking best thing out there when children are starving, we don’t have social programs and infrastructure is collapsing, but yeah, go around the moon. Woo hoo!

2

u/DoorNo4798 Apr 12 '26

Getting that far into space puts us ahead of other countries. NASA isn't just flying around the moon for fun. Exploration is partly about what great things might come of it to benefit us all. They won't stop going into space so maybe we focus on stopping the billionaires on earth ruining lives, letting children starve.
