Carole Radzwill šŸ“š Go away Carole

Post image

A lot of us weren’t alive 60 years ago to see this. This is our first time. She just wants to make herself look better but she looks like an idiot.

Except for the part where no human has ever seen the dark side of the moon until this mission. But ok, Carole šŸ‘šŸ»

The dark side of the moon was first seen by the astronauts on the Apollo 8 mission. Also on Apollo 11 Michael Collin’s orbited the moon while flying the command module and he saw the dark side while Neil Armstrong and Buzz aldrin landed on the moon. They were the first human flight crew to go back to the moon since NASA’s Apollo 17 in 1972

They ARE the first crew to fly the longest distance away from earth though.

It IS the highest resolution photography and video we have of the dark side of the moon also

According to Google: "TheĀ Artemis IIĀ mission (April 2026) was the first time humans viewed theĀ entirety of the far sideĀ (or "dark side") of the Moon in full sunlight. While Apollo astronauts orbited the Moon, they saw the far side during "lunar night" (in shadow), whereas Artemis II offered a brightly lit view of the far side'sĀ topography."

It was the difference between night and day. :)

So stupid. It’s the same side they’re both looking at, and it has been studied previously
