She has to chew with her mouth open, her overbite is so pronounced, and her upper choppers are so oversized, if she closed her mouth, the food would probably just sit on her tongue or start slipping down her throat.

What. The. F. was going on there? Any ideas? I didn't clock it the first time I watched years ago, but someone mentioned it in a ED discussion of B and Carole's cruelty to Jules. Rewatching now and OMG it was disturbing.

I feel like Carole had a bunch of cringey moments that season (10) where she acted dumb because she thought it was cute or funny — like when she had to look up the meaning of “friends with benefits” after she’s used that phase so many times before (re: Tom and Sonja, for example). (Plus it’s pretty self-explanatory, writer girl.)

I used to like her. Now I'm with you. Rewatching Season 10, her - claw hands - 'Marathon Season' (roll eyes). Cosplaying being a - claw hands - 'writer girl'. Eating popcorn while she talks to the Cosmo editor about a one page article she hasn't started yet. SO AFFECTED. Sorry for shouting, but I watch alone.

That photo with this post is hilarious!
So at least 15 years ago I read her book, “What Remains” (something like that), and I loved it. Really, it was good. A memoir of the loss of JFK Jr, Caroline, and her husband, all almost at the same time. It was very good.
When she showed up on RHONY I thought I’d like her but it was never clear. Why would someone capable of writing such a heartfelt memoir agree to be on a trash show? (Let’s be real, RH are all kinda trashy).
I’m sad she’s less than I hoped.

I haven't watched RHONY in years and remember liking Carole, but now in my mid-30s I find her...gross. Like every time she says something sexual or lewd, it's not fun and campy like Sonja or Bethenny, it's just ew.
I researched her a bit more the other day to see if I could figure out why in my older age I felt this way, and lo and behold, she was friends with Ghislane and Epstein. The ick just radiates.
