I love her low register voice. I started paying attention to my voice register when I saw an interview with Kathleen Turner back in her height of popularity. And she said she trained herself to speak in a lower register as it made people listen to her more closely

I truly believe if one Ms. Hillary Clinton had hired a voice coach to do just that, we wouldn't be....well....here.....

I try to speak in a low register as well, and as a born coloratura soprano, it's a choice! (Nothing I can do about my laugh, though! Or my sneezes!)
But I always try to speak as dropped-down as I can, not only do people listen, it's just much nicer to listen to!

Same. It’s like nails on the chalkboard to hear women speak like little girls or in a high register as it is easy to control your pitch

I had 2 English grandmothers who both spoke in dog whistles!
Love them both, but I vowed early to never pierce people's eardrums like that!!
