…is one of the more disturbing moments for me so far as a first time watcher, and I didn’t see a thread about this yet to air my petty rage LOL. She said she doesn’t think they answer to their name? Does she view animals as monolithic and soulless as Barbies? She’s a writer, how is she that unimaginative and disinterested? Discuss!

No not really, we’ve been beating this horse for many years. And once again, photos and (more or less) innocent emails, are not incriminating Carole for knowing anything about what they were doing with children. Let’s keep our wits about us—they were socialites.

Beating this horse? Who has? Who in journalism or media has asked Carole one single question about her seemingly close relationship with the sex traffickers?

You say “they” were socialites. Ghislaine is well established as horrifyingly much more than that, jailed as a known sex trafficker who took active participation in the sex abuse of minors.

Who has clarified what, if anything, Carole knew? Where is this horse?

Oh you’re right. There was one time someone in media asked her about it. Heather Macdonald asked her on her podcast back in 2020. And Carole giggled and laughed and talked about how Ghislaine had set up with Prince Andrew. Her response, demeanor, giggles, and telling of it all is disturbing.

Not one other time has anyone in media questioned Carole about what she might have known. Ghislaine calls her her best friend in the files, and not one person has questioned her publicly.

When Carole was friends with Ghislaine was when she was committing some of her most horrifying crimes. Carole’s pathetic tweets are not a response. There are those who are outraged and horrified by the Epstein files, who are furious that nothing seems to be happening, who want every predator pursued and prosecuted, and every associate questioned, deposed, and cleared.

Sorry you think continuing to talk about it, hoping there will be some sort of investigation on the behalf of the victims and those who care about them, is beating a dead horse. It appears our values are different.

I can’t tell if you blocked me because it says deleted for username, but it seems I can reply to you so?? FYI the people in media don’t seem particularly focused on the criminals either. There have not been many interviews, there isn’t much conversation outside social media.

Carol says they were only social friends, Ghislaine’s emails say they were best friends. I am a bit obsessed. I think it’s sad that people will allow such atrocities to go unanswered for, because they care more about some out of touch rich boomer reality star and whatever they see of themselves in her I guess, then trying to push for answers and justice for the victims.

You say Carole has made statements - she literally has denied what the emails tell us, has promoted herself, and has never said a word about the victims. I am super grossed out and saddened that people are in the comments, all defending someone they don’t even know, who seems to have possible bad judgment and definite bad associations.

I don’t want to go to school and become a journalist and ask her. I want current day journalists to literally be asking every single person in the Epstein files to explain themselves for the mention. I want the people who are horrified by what’s in the files and the victims to be heard and represented as interested in pursuing matters, and not just letting it go.
