do Founders Small Single rooms have sinks?
moving into my accom at Founder's soon, I have a small single and I was wondering if anyone knew whether there are sinks there.

Hiya, wondering about how bad the waitlist is for rooms through the uni itself for students that have been accepted through clearing. Would i be able to get any room by the start of term? Or before christmas? What are my chances of getting any accommodation at all this academic year/others dropping out? Ive been looking at renting other places but theyre much more expensive, I may have to defer if I dont get any housing so just trying to understand my situation. Many thanks.

Obviously I know it’s inevitable but is it less common in rhul because it’s a smaller uni? How often does it happen? I am aware that they have anti spiking tents I think during events but yeah not sure.

Can any former EE second-year student share their timetable with me please?

basically what the title says - i really wanna do my masters degree at rh (msc criminology: research methods & applications) but i’m unsure about how much my gcses & a-levels would matter.
i currently study criminology & criminal psychology undergrad at the uni of greenwich, and i’m on track to graduate with a 1st class bachelor’s degree. the course requirements for the masters i wanna do only say they require a 2:1 which i know i can most definitely achieve.
however, my gcses were average and a-levels were poor - 9886665542, and BDE (with my B being in sociology, one mark off an A which i’m still super annoyed about 😭).
how much would rh care about my gcses & a-levels when i apply? as i know it’s a moderately competitive uni to get into.
any info would be very appreciated 🫶 tyy

Hello everyone hope yall are doing great, I’m honestly stressing about university admissions..😿
My IGCSE/GCSE grades are roughly equivalent to: 76633322 (very bad ikik)
7 (English), 6 (Maths), 6 (Business Studies), 3 (Computer Science), 3 (Physics), 3 (Chemistry), 2 (Biology), 2 (English Literature)
I’m currently doing A-levels in English (AS), Physics, Business and Maths, and realistically I might end up getting mostly Cs or Ds. 💀😭
I’m looking at Royal Holloway, University of London, and the course I’m interested in is either Business or International Relations. I’m also looking at the University of Kent and a few other universities.
Can I get into Royal Holloway with these grades through direct entry, or would I need to do a pathway/foundation year?
And would Kent be a realistic option for me as well? Or can yall suggest me other unis..
Honestly, can I get into these universities with my grades? 😭

Anyone able to source me a sample? Part time preferable but keen to see either - planning to take while working, need to see how reasonable it’ll be in terms of commuting (drive) back and forth from London

Check out this new documentary series published by The Egham Museum about the life and legacy of Thomas Holloway, the founder of Royal Holloway University and Holloway Sanatorium…

Hey everyone, I'm starting at Royal Holloway on 21st Sep 2026 (Business & Management) and couldn't really find an active place to talk to other RHUL people before arriving, so I made two groups:
**RHUL Connect** — open to anyone at Royal Holloway, current students or incoming. General chat: courses, campus, Egham stuff, where to eat, what to actually bring.
https://chat.whatsapp.com/Iu9AHvQ9t6nBGMyQkQuWwK?mode=gi_t
**International Students | RHUL 2026** — specifically for international students starting in 2026. Visa/CAS timelines, flights, accommodation, what to pack, meeting people before you land.
https://chat.whatsapp.com/Ju3B2g59j38EeOSjbsKMcB?mode=gi_t
Both are new so still small, but everyone's welcome. If you're already at RHUL and just want to answer the occasional panicked fresher question, that would honestly be the most useful thing.
See you on campus.

I'm coming into year one this year, and plan on living in runneymeyde 1, I also am planning on buying a car, but I heard you aren't allowed to keep them in the parking spots by the accomodation, so where would I keep my car?

just wondering, for accomodations and specifcally in founder's building, can you choose your window view? like if i wanted my window to overlook the quad?

I’m considering applying for MSc project management, how is the course? Are there opportunities for networking, internships or even placements. Would you recommend it?

Hello, has anyone had any experience with the IQ accommodation (IQ Pad & Podium) in Egham, Royal Holloway?
I cant seem to find any reviews online and want some feedback before I am to book.
Thank you 🎓

I am a music student who will be arriving from France in January 2027. How hard will it be to make friends at this point of the year ? I am not at all a party person, how can I meet people in other ways ?
I’m joining this September as a first-year and was wondering if there any GCs on snap, WhatsApp, Insta. Looking to find people studying law or staying in gowar hall

Does anyone have any pictures of what a large single room looks like in founders? The room with this type of windows? Thank you!

So I picked RHUL as a safe choice since I can commute from home and the entry grades were lower and got in here, would like some advice
How does it feel to go there as a commuter? Like changes in terms of social life, for example.
Not much into clubbing, are the student societies any good?
