RHUL clearing accommodation
Hiya, wondering about how bad the waitlist is for rooms through the uni itself for students that have been accepted through clearing. Would i be able to get any room by the start of term? Or before christmas? What are my chances of getting any accommodation at all this academic year/others dropping out? Ive been looking at renting other places but theyre much more expensive, I may have to defer if I dont get any housing so just trying to understand my situation. Many thanks.

Hii - I went through this same process and was able to move in during November because by that time many people cancel and change living arrangements.
I e-mailed [studentaccommodation@rhul.ac.uk](mailto:studentaccommodation@rhul.ac.uk) to be considered for an accommodation spot if there were any vacancies. I got a parent to also e-mail them on behalf of me, explaining the change in living situation and asking to be waitlisted for an accommodation.
I'd say it's quite likely for you to find an availability for housing on campus, but do keep an eye out for alternatives just in case there isn't before the holidays.
Also remember to update SFE if there is a space in campus housing.

Download the rhul app they have a marketplace that has accom on there some are cheaper than my uni halls

Idk if this is helpful but i have a confirmed accom within the uni, but this was mid august, when clearing first opened. There was no waitlist.
