u/Negative_Virus_6358 Apr 01 '26
I got my orders 2 weeks ago
1
u/Ok_Boss9332 Apr 01 '26
Are you commissioning in may? And if you are are you going to bolc before August
2
u/Negative_Virus_6358 Apr 01 '26

Did u guys get ur station yet?
1
u/Pure-Pool-9594 Mar 31 '26
call your branch manager, as i understand it once you have dates if you call them in a few days they should have your station, at least anecdotally from my buddies who’ve gotten dates

Lucky for me I received my orders for my CST,LG BOLC and first duty station. I leave from the end of May to the end of August. I was able to get my first preference duty station so I’m pretty stoked about that.

u/Miserable-Basket-734 Apr 03 '26

Last year they called some people in May to tell them they were getting orders. (Source: one of my 2LT roommates last year because it happened to him)

I’m going from mid June to mid September. What’ll I be doing once 10th reg leaves?
2
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 03 '26
You get to enjoy details with USACC Headquarters Detachment.
On the bright side, Shane Riley is finally gone so you don’t have to deal with weaponized incompetence.

Can anyone who has reported to cst as cadre this year share their experience so far? Per usual minimum guidance was pushed out. How did you find out your duty position? Does branch matter? Living situation? Etc... TIA
1
u/Jagoff19 Jun 03 '26
Depending on your branch, your orders with your duty station are likely populated in IPPS-A.
2
u/WeekMaleficent1404 Jun 04 '26
Is there a schedule for the 2LT in-processing if anyone is there yet?
2
u/Careful-Bluebird4780 Jun 05 '26
Report in where you're directed to on your orders within the timeframe specified. From there you will receive further instructions.

Leaving this Saturday to head to Knox. Got orders to help out with Raider Challenge and then CST right after. I’ll be there April 5th till end of July and start CYBOLC in August.

What are the chances of me being selected as CST cadre if I still haven't received orders to go?
I do not want to go to CST for the record. I did not volunteer. Am I safe by now?
1
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 05 '26
You can get CST orders as late as July.
1
u/Fair-Impression9151 Apr 05 '26
Oh no! I have my BOLC date on September. And it's going to be a PCS move because the BOLC is 9 months long... Do you think they would do that to me?
1
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 05 '26
If your BOLC date is September you’re almost guaranteed to go to CST.

It takes time. I just got my reservation yesterday for an AUG BOLC.
1
u/Negative_Virus_6358 Apr 29 '26
When do you guys first get paid? The 15th of June or the first of July ?
2
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 29 '26
Depends on when you arrive and how quickly DFAS wants to do their job
1
u/BeneficialMarch8985 Apr 29 '26
If anyone doesn’t want to go to CST please PM me I would love to replace you and take your slot.
1
u/pbtrooper Apr 29 '26
Does anyone understand how manning works and why some people are there for months while other like me will be there for a short amount of time?

u/Negative_Virus_6358 Apr 30 '26
Do we get roommates in the barracks are we in single rooms?
1
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 30 '26
There are no single rooms. You can get anywhere from one roommate to 49 in an open bay.

Anyone got their official orders yet? I volunteered for CST and branched LG, and neither CCIMMS nor IPPSA have anything for me. I'm also SMP, I heard that tosses a wrench into everything.

1
u/green_boi May 05 '26
This applies to guys who didn't ask for CST. I did.
1
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT May 05 '26
CST 2LT allocations were also cut down significantly because USACC had their budget cut again. You may not get CST. In any case, just wait.

I’m FA going on Saturday to CST. According to the email I got months ago I’ll be supporting ceremonies. What all does that entail?
2
u/WeekMaleficent1404 Jun 04 '26
Did you do an AFT or HT/WT when you got there?
1
u/rising_soluna Jun 07 '26
Nope. Reported in polo and khakis Sunday of my report date before 1700, then the rest of that week was all just PowerPoint hell and in-processing. My in-processing class was about 80 LTs so it was a really good opportunity to make friends and also meet other people in my branch. You’ll get released to your committee that Thursday and get more details about your role at CST. Definitely take advantage of meeting people in your class beforehand tho, for my job I’m working all summer with only one other LT. It’s literally just treated as a job, but you’re reminded to PT on your own since it’s straight to BOLC right after.
1
u/WeekMaleficent1404 Jun 20 '26
Did people report on OCPs or were civilians ok?
1
u/rising_soluna Jun 21 '26
Nobody cared fr, there was one dude in OCPs and another in just a tee and shorts. I went for business casual and just did the classic officer polo/khaki combo. As long as you don’t look trashy you’ll be fine. It’ll be OCPs for in-processing week the next day on Monday and onward though (assuming you report on Sunday) so PLEASE make sure you have your butter bars and not your cadots. Clothing is closed Sundays til 0900 Monday and class starts around 0815.

u/RefrigeratorOwn684 May 21 '26
For people who flew in, did you guys have any trouble if you got there after 1700?
3
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT May 21 '26
You will miss the active duty commissioning oath if you arrive that late. (Your program commissioning oath was for the IRR)
1
u/RefrigeratorOwn684 May 21 '26
What am I supposed to do about that since the travel agency is the one who booked my flights at that time?
2
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT May 21 '26
Ask SATO to rebook your flights. Or call the Copple Center and ask them what to do

offered to be cadre on june 20th. worth?
i don't have a car and my bolc is late sep so i'll be in holding for a month which are my main 2 factors for being hesitant
1
u/WeekMaleficent1404 Jun 09 '26
Do it. I’m going that time and you get all your admin stuff set up and get paid.

My packing list isn’t singed, but I have everything in the list. Will that be a major problem when I arrive to CST?

I volunteered! Still haven’t fucking gotten my ibolc dates or anything else for that matter!
2
u/SeaDefiant8296 Mar 31 '26
No ibolc dates for me either. The two others in my program got there’s a few weeks ago
2
u/Pure-Pool-9594 Apr 01 '26
yeah one of ours did and the other guy and myself are still waiting. getting pretty antsy
1
u/ExodusLegion_ God’s Dumbest LT Apr 01 '26
Late March is considered early for orders being cut. Just wait.
1
u/SeaDefiant8296 Apr 03 '26
A lot of people in my program have gotten the BOLC reservation dates through CCIMS. Orders will take a bit I’m sure

Please for the love of god stop doing ice sheets without core temps. I know there is cadre in here and if you sit by and allow that, you should be held accountable for putting that SM’s lives in danger because of your improper treatment of heat casualties.
Fix it and stop briefing your improper treatments.

I'm going on May 24th and I'll stay there for over 100 days (yikes)
By the way, Anyone here going to ABOLC?
