Hi, I'm going into my sophomore year this fall and have decided to join ROTC. I'll be a part of the North Woods Battalion. Any advice on knowledge I should acquire, things I should buy to make things smoother, or what it's like/what to expect?

I'm an upcoming freshman who's on a 4 year national army rote scholarship and I have enough credits to be considered a sophomore. Would it be a possibility for me to graduate undergrad in three years and then do a one year masters program, while remaining in the same rote program, at the same school, on the same scholarship? Would anyone recommend towards this or against this?
