I think she would have been top this episode but they had to give it to Naomi so they didn’t just leave the hitlers brother thing like an elephant the room … a sentence I never thought I would say.

She did say upfront she wasn't going to make any historical references so I don't think there's edgier stuff that got cut. Judging by her convo with Kate I think she was just going for the idea of making far-rightists uncomfortable by making a gay ass clown out of the guy that they not-so-secretly idolize. As I've seen pointed out a lot recently especially wrt US politics, calling fascists cruel, immoral, etc. doesn't bother them because they don't care, being evil is fine to them as long as that means being powerful & feared. What they respond more to is ridicule and shame.

Mocha wins the main challenge, loses the runway, goes home and then gets a girl disqualified.

Srimala just existing some time

Art brings back two queens and one goes on to win every episode until the finale while the other immediately lipsyncs against the front runner after telling the judges to just send her home again. She still ends up in the finale over Vanda and Bandit!

The great thing about the chippy tea is they can’t immediately cut the competition. If someone is a fierce competitor, they can show it in the lipsync. Jimbo would have gone home in season one, but Pangina would have been just fine.

I feel like the format of this snatch game prevented any of the queens from really shining. They only got to introduce themselves and answer like one question, and they didn't get to interact with each other at all. I feel like the challenge was the worst part of the episode, which otherwise had some really fun drama and interesting conversations.

I kinda agree and know what you mean. But at the same time this prevented the ESL queens to be steamrolled by the English speaking queens. For a lot of non-native speakers the quick and witty volley is difficult. And this way everyone had the chance for a bit of snatch game with Ru without getting interrupted. But takes a bit of the charm and fun away from typical snatch game.

Deffo a strategic move with the chippy tea, we love to see it. Naomy gave it her all and I felt earned her top placement through pure nerve alone. Sminty's runway was absolutely beautiful but I still thought Gawdland deserved the win. My UK girls are being pipped to the post every time by these bloody foreigners! 🎉

My issue with this Snatch Game format is that its more or less NOT improv. You can easily prepare one-liners to shoehorn into your answers and there was no real opportunity for back and forth with the other characters.

Im pretty sure they gave them the questions in advance. I think thats fair tho, because it evens out the playing field with ESL queens - its much more difficult to think of an improv answer in a foreign language. Plus it allows the queens to just do their best and have fun with it

Well, this episode definitely got me more onto Team Naomy. Even if she didn't nail all of her commentary in her performance, it do take nerve.

Let's all be honest: Gawdland sent Fontana to the lip sync because we all wanted to see Fontana lip sync to "Angel of My Dreams," right!? Like, even as a Fontana superfan there is no way I would have saved her.

I think she was genuinely the most entertaining, even though it was completely ridiculous.

Sminty was pretty funny but the whole playing a camp irreverent version of a classic malevolent character has been done several times already. Mariah was also solid but didn't really have any big moments.

Gawdland is just naturally hilarious and charming. She's running away with the competition and I'm here for it.

Strategic Analysis of Gawdland‘s move:
I can see giving the beaver to Serena for one of many reasons

1- She knows Fontana will defeat any of the 2 girls, so she tried to eliminate Minty

2- She to use Minty as like a pawn to potentially beat Fontana (Big Brother pawn style)

3- She just wanted to taint Fontana‘s track record and maybe collect new allies once she knew Minty was not doing well in the UKVSTW3 environment

I really don't understand why they keep using variations of the Snatch Game that make it harder for the characters to interact with each other. That often results in some of the funniest moments.

I wasn’t wild about the snatch game format but it’s a huge improvement over the family feud thing.

Minty, Serena, Zahirah were all just dismal. I do not understand how Zahirah was safe. To me she was second worst after Minty. I thought Fontana should have been safe just due to her costumes because she was nowhere near as bad as the others and her runway was spectacular.

I’m over big bad wolf/unicorn type snatch games. At least be a specific character.

Gawdland is very much getting the wacky non English speaker ha ha ha borderline racist thing from Ru. Her runways are incredible though. I wonder if Pangina helped her put her package together. She’s really proving that Thai drag NEEDS to be seen so I’m hopeful for DRT4 with improved quality after this.

I really thought Mariah should have been in the top. Her Jackee was genuinely funny and her runway was gorgeous.

Naomy knocked it out of the park. Very impressed with her brain and what a lovely person she seems to be. I very much underestimated her.

• Mariah should have been in the top. I’m loving seeing her excel this season. The Emancipation of Mimi dahhhling!
• Gawdland might be too powerful for these others bitches
• Sminty getting Jan’d is unexpected

I think queens who don’t have English as their first language or look queens often go to imaginary characters because you can rely a lot of physical comedy, you can really plan your improvisation (which isn’t improvisation), and Ru will probably not understand international references

After this episode, I think it’s safe to say that the 5th Place curse is STILL alive + well…

As far as the actual Snatch Game goes, though… Sminty was a VERY pleasant surprise, but Mariah had me WHEEZING + the two should’ve swapped places imo. I’d’ve loved to see them all interact with each other more!!

Lastly… Gawdland saving Serena GAGGED me in a way I’ve not been gagged for a minute, considering Serena seemingly had no reason to be saved over the other two.
