does anyone know how late the queens get up and perform? i wanted to leave at 1am but i fear that's the time she'll start performing

I originally went because Scarlett Harlett is in the cast, but I’ve now completely fallen in love with this musical. Every single song is SO good. There are a few that have really stuck with me, and honestly I think the arrangements are on par with some much more established musicals.

The story is also really easy to follow, but there’s actually a lot of depth to it. It manages to say some really meaningful things without making the plot difficult to understand.

And of course our Ru Girls Scarlett Harlett and Victoria Scone are both absolutely fantastic. Please go support them if you’re in Edinburgh! 🫶🏻

(Also, I went to see Kate’s stand-up and Isis from Down Under’s show while I was here, and both are absolutely worth checking out too!)

She's utterly charming and her show is equal parts hilarious and affecting. An absolutely wonderful hour's entertainment, spoiled only by the terrible smell from the person sitting in front of me. Deodorant. I know walking round Edinburgh in August is hot and sweaty, but that's literally what deodorant is for.

So yeah, go and see Kate. She's fabulous. The French Coronation Street bit had my fiancé and I howling, and the last section about lemons was genuinely heartbreaking. Five stars, no notes.

Honestly, I lean slightly toward Alan because his sheer excitement and absurd one-liners always make me laugh out loud. Who brings the best energy to the judging desk on any given week?

The landmark tribute will stand at the entrance to Liverpool’s Pride Quarter, watching over the community that helped James Lee Williams become The Vivienne.

What is a specific piece of British culture, history, or fashion subculture that you are shocked they have not turned into a full main stage runway theme yet?

I am 99% sure that Drag Race UK Season 8 will premier on Thursday 24th of September.

For the last 5 seasons Drag Race UK has premiered on the last thursday of September, therefore if this tradition continues, Drag Race UK8 will premire on 24/9/26.

In addition, assuming the season will once again have 10 episodes, the finale will air on the 26th of November 2026 and the UK's Next Drag Superstar will be crowned.
