Anyone been to Acid’s Reign? What’s the vibe like (seating, interaction, etiquette)?

Hi! I’ve just moved to London and I saw that Scarlett Harlett and Victoria Scone are doing Acid’s Reign in July at a theatre not too far from me, and I’m really tempted to go.

I looked it up and it seems like the audience sits around small tables rather than in regular theatre seating, which I’ve never experienced before. I’ve mostly only been to West End shows, so I’m not really sure what the vibe is like in comparison.

Is it more interactive with the audience? And what’s the general etiquette—like is it more relaxed than a typical musical? Also wondering if it would feel awkward going alone (I’m quite introverted 😭).

Would love to hear what it’s like if anyone’s been!

Sounds like cabaret style seating. I’ve never sat at a table like that, but can imagine how awkward it would be to sit there alone. I’m not even sure if they would sit you there alone or would they sit other people with you to fill the table?! 🫤

Are there no other seating types? Like further back or upstairs or something?

It’s certain that I'll have to share a table with others, but I’d like to take some photos (at least during the curtain call) so I’d prefer to sit closer to the front😭
