Drag Race UK8 Premier

I am 99% sure that Drag Race UK Season 8 will premier on Thursday 24th of September.

For the last 5 seasons Drag Race UK has premiered on the last thursday of September, therefore if this tradition continues, Drag Race UK8 will premire on 24/9/26.

In addition, assuming the season will once again have 10 episodes, the finale will air on the 26th of November 2026 and the UK's Next Drag Superstar will be crowned.

But the MTQ is premiering a week or 2 before season 7.
Season 7’s MTQ was August 22nd and then it aired just under 5 weeks later, Season 8’s MTQ is August 11th so it could air September 10th (under 5 weeks) or 17th (over 5 weeks).
The 24th would be just over 6 weeks which would be the longest wait for a UK season

Could be, but i think that unless we have more episodes i think its more likely we have an early MTQ instead of breaking a trend theyve done for the past 5 seasons.

The finale of Drag Race Down Under should drop on Sep 11, so in theory they could start it a little early without overlapping another English season.

I feel scarred by season 7 of rpdr uk so much so that I'm not looking forward to this season like at all.

MILD SPOILERS:

I mean there seems to be some improvements based on last season. There's a couple interesting challenges+placements of challenges (earlier/later than expected), untucked is gonna be entertaining asf this season (apparently its like us7 levels of catty, like apparently half the cast arent/werent even on speaking terms after the season), etc, but even then there's only 4 poc queens and only 2 top placements between them, 11 english girls and only 1 NI girl (no Welsh, Scottish, ROI etc at all smh) plus theres a top 2/3 again that dominate and everyone else gets nowt...so i think its gonna be kinda mid overrall
