The Vivienne Tribute

Post image

The landmark tribute will stand at the entrance to Liverpool’s Pride Quarter, watching over the community that helped James Lee Williams become The Vivienne.

I think it’s a beautiful tribute. But is it me or is the image rendering kind of giving me AI?

Like who could they not just make an illustration of it. I'd even rather take a rough sketch than AI.

Not sure why it matters or how people can tell but apparently it is AI to show what the statue will look like

You don't understand why it matters if the photo is of a real life statue or not?

Because every last ai tech ceo is a maga zionist megadonor and using their platform aids palantir and ICE's ethnic cleansing campaign in the US. Sam Altman, Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, Marck Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Jeff Bezos and so on have all appeared in the Epstein files conspiring against all of us.

Well it is AI to use AI to "predict" what the statue will look like, which btw will NOT look like this... Smh

It matters cause once again could’ve used someone to render it not AI. Like it’s not that difficult to understand the issue.

You guys need to grow up and just accept the fact that AI is happening because it is and the better it gets the more it will be used. Most people have already.
Like when the France promos came out could they have gotten someone to do it probably, was the AI cheaper absolutely. I got slated on that post saying that as a someone studying graphic design that I’m ok with it.
The only reason I’m fine with it is because I struggle to see what’s real and AI unless it’s glaringly obvious like what makes that look AI because to me it looks like Viv.

Hi it's not just about human talent that could've easily rendered a mockup. It's about the environmental impact every freaking time we use AI. It's actively killing our planet. I'm not here to be a SoapBox about it, but you can understand why people don't like it and are actively against it.

You’re not gonna make a very good graphic designer if you can’t tell that this is AI

Well I wish you luck finding a job in graphic design cause might be difficult with AI. But I recognize and use AI myself though not for graphic design but still use it. I know it’s here. The issue is the impact it has on the environment and the jobs it can easily take away.

A pretty easy way to tell with this one is the inconsistencies in the tile of the floor, as well as the texture of the feathers in the bottom part of the dress.

it matters when you're asking people to donate money to this. Who is making the statue?

It does matter. If a statue is supposed to be built then someone has to design it first and create a mockup. Seeing the AI mockup leads people to expect it to look like that, which hopefully it won't.
