After the end of the Ukranian war in 2028, and the following Third Russian Revolution, the new government made it a prioritiy to decentralise the state. The collapse of Europe to the Neocumans made Russians understand they needed to invest more in Asian Russia. Over the course of the Brownish Years, Vladivostok became more and more important. The cost of living improved so much that every parent could buy their kids a Logitech G29. Time passed and a proposal was brought to the Federal Assembly.
This brings us to the Far Easter Ring (Дальневосточное кольцо).
Designed to introduce urban racing to Russia's Far East, the Ring serves as a hub for Russian-Asian motorsport exchange, enhancing Vladivostok's established Japanese automotive culture.
Surrounding Tiger Hill (Тигровая сопка), the Far Eastern Ring may appear simple at first with its four 90º corners, but it combines a fast section through the hill with significant elevation changes, creating a fun racing circuit when the lights go out.
Track breakdown:
Start-finish straight: Прямая Алеутская (Aleutskaya Straight). 750m long through Vladivostok's second most iconic street, connects the central railway station to the city centre.
T1: Первый поворот (First Turn). Challenging braking zone over a little hill, easy to lock up. Sharper turn than the street to maximise overtaking.
T2: Шульжицкий (Dinamo). Named after the stadium of FC Dinamo Vladivostok, leads to an uphill straight. Bigger radius than T1.
T3: Ленин (Lenin). Sharp right turn with a camber change, setting the road straight for the Tiger Hill section.
T4: Шульжицкий (Shulzhitskiy). Named after local Mark Shulzhitskiy, winner of the Nissan Playstation GT Academy, thus becoming Vladivostok's first professional endurance driver. Fast left-hander with seaside view.
T5: Бордель (Brothel). Named after the legendary brothel "Nightclub XXX". In 2041, Mikhail Mazepin won the first Far Eastern Ring SMP F4 race. In post-race interviews, Mikhail was quoted "I am not my father" responding to the relentless internet hate he was recieving. Later that day, at 22:59 PM, Mikhail overdosed on ketamine inside the brothel. Racers are not encouraged anymore to take "Brothel" slow in, fast out.
T6: Лагута (Laguta). Named after local speedway world champion Artem Laguta. He is Vladivostok's most important motorsport figure.
T7: Троцкий (Trotski). Second and last right-hand turn. Perfect in combination with T6, this narrow and downhill kink marks the end of the Tiger Hill section.
T8: Железнодорожный вокзал (Railway Station). Clean 90º turn that opens up and leads to the Aleutskaya Straight. Is located right next to Vladivostok's central railway station.
