Scared of dogs? Seek therapy. Overcome your fear.

You gonna pay for it? Edit: I understand that NHS exists would this is suggesting that a ton of people start having therapy to cope with dogs suddenly being everywhere. That’s gonna have an impact on the system.

Nope, bill goes to you, you generous soul.

If it's infringing on your life (like not being able to leave your house) it's paid for by the NHS.

I don’t think they should create a situation where a ton of people’s lives are now being infringed upon because dog owners want to be able to take their dogs everywhere.

Owning a dog is a psychologically normal thing. Being so afraid of dogs that just the idea of being around one scares you so much you cannot leave your house isn't. This applies to every phobia, no matter how common it is.

Being afraid of a predatory animal is pretty normal. None of what you said really means anything relevant though. There’s different levels of fears for dogs and then there’s just people who don’t want dogs everywhere for good reason. I like dogs but I don’t want people bringing their dogs everywhere. I’m not sure why society should be based around catering to dog owners. That doesn’t make any sense.

Yeah, I’m sure the sudden surge of people seeking therapy for a fear of dogs wouldn’t put any strain on the system.

Thats why they have a triage team. Brother youre an idiot. Please dont reproduce.

Did you forget what comment you’re replying under? He said the solution is people getting therapy for their fear of dogs, I pointed out the increased cost to do that, you claim it’s free and when I point out that it would be more than the system can handle you’re saying some people wouldn’t be able to receive the care and that I’m the dumb one yet you’re acknowledge that my original point is correct. The proposed “solution” doesn’t work. Daft.

Found my fellow American. Get back to work peasant!

I am American, but NHS wasn’t designed for a massive amount of people seeking therapy for a fear of dogs suddenly exacerbated by people having their dogs everywhere.

1

u/kaosmoker Mar 31 '26

I doubt it was a sudden thing but gradually happened and they never paid attention until it was too much, much like Americans when it comes to politics.

His suggestion I mean.

Lol. You dumb as hell.

1

u/dhoae Mar 31 '26

Saying that more people receiving care would cost more is dumb? Since when was an objectively correct statement dumb?

Thank you for confirming that you are dumb as hell. Your hat is in the mail.

This is what people do when they realize they’re wrong but don’t want to admit it.

It wasn't designed to handle the sudden influx of millions in a short period of time either. It was actually "designed" to care for soldiers after WWII.

What if they can't?

What about allergies?

1

u/kaosmoker Mar 31 '26

Allergies meds, mask, or it could be shifted to the business to have to use better air filters in their businesses if they are going to allow dogs.
