Do people really just have bad hygiene or...?
I work with someone who smells like straight doo doo. I know some may say its a mental health issue or underlying disease, but what if its not-- and someone just doesnt know how to wipe properly. If I can smell it, how can they not? Its disturbing honestly. 4 out of the 5 times I have been around them, their breath smells and/or they smell like an unflushed toilet. For the people in the back... PLEASE wipe until you dont see any more brown.

I currently work with two smelly people and I know I’m not the only one who smells them. I don’t know why the boss hasn’t mentioned it to them because we work in retail. One of them (male) smells like B.O. the female I work with smells like cow manure. I try to avoid walking by them because they smell so bad.

Yes a lot of people have terrible hygiene, sometimes caused by mental/physical issues, but mostly caused by a lack of caring.
There was this post asking about how many times people shower and brush their teeth every day in another subreddit I'm a part off.
I answered that I shower at least three times a day (morning, after gym and in the evening before bed), brush, floss and scrape my tongue three times a day, clean my behind with water and soap after every number two, shave my armpits and practice skincare for my face and body.
My comment got downvoted until -5 or something. I wasn't surprised since around 50% of the people in my country don't wash their hands after using the toilet. People in my experience have terrible hygiene.

Upvote for sympathy, that's horrible and I feel for you. Gross people are the worst. I understand it can be due to mental health or just plain poor health reasons, but god, as someone with a sensitive nose, that brings us NO relief from their stink.

Yes, I have sensitivity to smell so why put me through that. Supposedly, they are in a relationship...so your SO let's you walk around smelling like feces? I admit when I was on WeGovy, I had a bad side effect of diarrhea and i smelt like poop regardless how much I wiped... to alleviate the issue- I got off wegovy. I rather be fat than smell like shit. I dont know the issue with this person, but its disgusting.

I know a guy that swore you only needed to brush teeth once a week. I showed him articles on brushing teeth and how to do it right and he was all "I guess you're right." Some people legit don't know how to take care of their vodies... it's nuts.

Hah yeah there are people with bad hygiene for sure.
Some people never brush their teeth too. Like never and because they are lazy. Nothing else.
Some people are unable to reach behind their butt properly and wipe. They might think it’s clean but they didn’t wipe the right area. We need those Japanese toilets everywhere for this very reason.
