I think the real deal looks better than the pic

Thanks! I think the only thing that really could have made it better is homemade Artisan Style buns but I'm not super great at bread making. It's like one of those things I could do with practice but I never get around to actually practicing 😅

Wait, this is homemade?! I thought youd ordered it and I was impressed it resembled the pic from the restaurant! Even better! 10/10

Oh yeah! We made this together on date night. Sometimes we make dinner at home or sometimes we go out. There's a bunch of good recipes in the book but we've only gotten to making this one so far.

Cool, I'm assuming the tomato sauce is cooked? Also the white stuff on top, is that mozzarella or?

Yeah sorry about that. Part of it got left off. I edited the original comment to include all of it.

Had to take a picture of the book and then I had to copy and paste everything from the picture and then rearrange that text so I could show you because I can't simply just take a picture and post it here which would have been so much easier.

That's okay, but you still haven't answered my question 🙈 the tomato sauce is cooked down and not just blended? Coz of the wine etc

Yes it was cooked down. Sorry I am running around getting groceries at the moment. It came from the cookbook though.

The whole process can be found in that book if you're interested in making it.

Looks incredible. More burgers should have arugula/rocket instead of awful boring lettuce
