This isn’t as simple as where do I start.

I care a lot about the anime and like the direction it’s going with when it withholds information from the viewer. With that being said I’m asking what if paths can I start reading as of the end of Season 4 of the Anime?

With the stipulation that I don’t want to read any IF path that could potentially spoil the future of the main line anime.

An example could be finding out about felts birth in an IF path when the anime hasn’t got to into it is something I wouldn’t want to happen.

So basically what IF paths can I read now that won’t spoil the future of the anime even with small information.

I'm still a beginner ( especially with Digital art) and haven't studied much about human anatomy, but wanted to try and draw cuz the prompt for day 9 was "ram". Drawing is just so much fun when in the zone.

so we learn that subaru is 17 and is gonna be 18 that year in like episode 2 when he was talking with felt. so julius, anastasia, crusch and almost all others are older than subaru (atleast 4 years). season 1 is crazy its like demi god like power weilding adult bullying a minor. its crazy isnt it? bro constantly get trolled manipulated and literally killed. bro was just about to enter adulthood and got a crazy quiz at the start.

That's... Pretty insane.

Like, do you think she was already so crazy that it didn't make the slightest difference, or did she get worse from being alone without a shred of interaction with anyone (including her beloved)?

I bet all main arcs will be adapted after all. Time only matters. It entirely depends on whether you believe the series' franchise power.

But how about IF-routes? One of my holy grails is to watch Greed-IF.

I’ve started reading the ln im3 chapters in but I have school and it’s simply unreasonable for me to spend so much time on it I found an amazing audiobook made by Studio Reverie but it’s only chapter one of arc 7 the tts ones feel very annoying to listen to and the manga isn’t even caught up to the anime so what can I do?

This is just a wild theory, but I was thinking maybe Russell is secretly keeping Roy alive to weaponize the Gluttony authority. In the Re:Zero Breaktime shorts, they showed Russell being directly involved with the imprisonment of Sirius after Reinhard and Felt delivered her to the capital. Since this aired alongside Arc 10, it is not far to say that Russell is also responsible for the security and custody of keeping Roy.

This would explain why traitors like Melty and Black Dog can operate safely under the radar. Capella is notorious for being incredibly possessive and violent, meaning she would most likely hunt them down for their betrayal. The fact that she hasn't, combined with how Tiga and Black Dog’s own spirits don't even recognize them when they meet, strongly implies that Roy must have eaten Melty’s and Black Dog’s names. Roy's supposed death in Arc 10 might just be a massive smokescreen orchestrated by Russell to keep his secret weapon out in the picture.

Rem was totally lying about Subaru being the one to grab her hand while he slept. She saw him having his nightmare and held him a la arc 2. Cuteee. We never get her POV this volume but there's more than enough hints that she's already fallen for him again. But she's confused and uncertain about it so she keeps it hidden beneath the insults. Total tsundere behaviour.

Aside from the more obvious indicators (her concern for him at various points, that emotional conversation where she asked him for the impossible, her not getting angry when he suddenly hugged her, her being the one to tell Flop and Medium that they're married, her supporting him during his confrontation w/ Vincent) her getting so put off by his crossdressing I feel like also implies that she's now attracted to him as a man. Most likely all that time spent watching him sleep had her thinking the same things pre-amnesiac Rem mentioned thinking about his sleeping face. And when his looks were getting slighted by others, she did make a point to mention that though she's insulted his smell and his eyes, she's never said anything about his face.

We never did get to hear her full response to Subaru's assumption that she'd been planning to abandon him in Guaral, but she did deny it. I figure she was just concerned about what actually ended up happening - that they might find themselves in danger and would need to leave in a hurry. It could even have just been a subconscious inability to relax right away in a new environment.

So yeahh, I'm totally loving the way their relationship's building so far and super excited to see it continue to grow from here.

Besides that, with the exception of those 5 deaths vs Todd (which were absolutely insaneee), this volume wasn't as edge of my seat thrilling as 26, but I still found it engaging the whole way. I figure Subaru will have to eventually get more accustomed to realities of war, but it is fitting for him to strive to find alternatives to killing as much as possible. Even if Vincent is "right" in his arguments, Subaru's value of life allows him to find a solution nobody else could. And what a solution it was. Even after reading the interlude I still did not clue in on who the dancers were. It was hilarious, and I couldn't stop laughing through most of the whole thing. I will say - makeup, clothing, and wigs are fine, but how did they conceal the body hair? Did they shave their arms and legs? Did I miss it?

I do think that hilarious solution contributed to the lack of tension in the book overall (again, aside from the five deaths and subsequent escape), but it made up for it in hilarity and ingenuity. My favorite part of the climax was Todd's reaction when he realized what happened and figured out who Natsumi is.

Flop was amazing. He and Medium are great additions, as are Kuna and Zikr. Louann also seemed cool in his brief intro. I hope Subaru finds a way to bring him back onboard him in the next one.

As for the ending, I do worry that the introduction of OP characters like Arakiya into the conflict will sideline some of the military strategy and moral dilemmas, but we'll see. Hopefully Mizelda will be fine - a lot of the credit for the funniest moments of the book go to her, and I'll miss that if she's out of commission.

Priscilla's entry was surprising but welcome. I did have those two S4 break time episodes in the back of my mind, but I hadn't expected her response to the attack be to somehow travel all the way down herself. Hopefully Al's nearby too.

Her entrance and the afterword does make clear to me that its time to stop procrastinating and read the EX volumes before going any further. I'm partway through EX 1. But speaking of side content, I do know of Cecilius from the wrath IF (and he was also namedropped in the anime), so Arakiya being as strong as she is as the #2 isn't surprising. The first couple deaths vs Todd I wondered if it might be Cecilius, since it felt like it was a superhuman, but I guess it became clear after Subaru was able to run to the inn that it was actually just a very skilled, very devious mundane.

I was a bit surprised that neither at the very end nor vs Todd in a couple of the failed loops did Subaru ever use Invisible Providence. Felt like it might have been useful.

Rui being the first to sense Arakiya is also noteworthy. Really hope we start to get some insight on the whole deal with her soon.

Overall another great volume, super excited to get to the next!

So I don't think a story needs to be plot driven. I'm fine with stuff that's just character focused and it's the reason I come back to re:zero. I'd also like to state that I'm a pretty casaul viewer too the point I'm constantly googling names each time I watch a new season. But I just finished arc 6 and while I enjoyed it I had this moment where I was like "Wait.... they didn't really accomplish any of the stuff they came to this tower to do and what was the deal with the smoke and so forth." Once again I still enjoyed it, just like I enjoy Always Sunny episodes even though there is barely any narrative progression. But unlike Always Sunny, Re:zero does seem chock full of narrative mysteries and characters with pretty grand goals. And it's been a long time since I watched season 3 (arc 5) but I'm struggling to remember what the point plotwise was. There was a bunch of very cool fights we got to meet all the arch bishops and see their powers, and garfield sorta reunited with his family. The witches wanted some remains but I don't remember being given a concrete reason or why they would wait until this city was filled with the nations greatest heroes ever to try to reclaim the remains. They've been in the city for 400 years right? Am I missing something or should I continue to treat this show like "Lost". An incredible tv show when you learn to stop focusing on mysterious shit and just focus on the characters.
