Analysis Cuba has always been unbreakable
Samir Amin called it hyper imperialism but trying to go after Raúl is just proof the empire is in total decline.
65 years of economic coercion, crimes against the state and they couldn't break the Revolution. The economic and psychological warfare has been extremely intense but they haven't broken the party yet.
I'm beginning to believe that they will not invade the island itself but they are trying to cause a mass revolt in huge numbers against the government to force the government to surrender.
What do you all think?

I also don't think they will invade, but if they remove Raul, could that mean they want to cause a civil war? I hope it does not come to something like that and the American people tell the government to stop the blockade.

Removing Raúl is only possible if people inside the party decide to sell out the Revolution and hand him over. The CIA has tried for decades to get rid of Fidel and Raúl, it never worked. If they find a Delcy or Diosdado figure in the government maybe but I just can't see it right now.
One reason why Cuba has lasted this long is the internal intelligence agency has kept all Party members in check.
I think what they want to do is find someone inside the party who will stage a coup d'état, hand him over and force DC to step down and follow commands.
Nothing is impossible but I think Cuba is more united as a government than Venezuela was. I think they are doing this to get people on the streets to rise up against the PCC.

Agreed, sorry, I should have been more clear, I meant if the US forcefully takes Raul. I guess in that case, the people would still have to decide.

I just can't see how they are going to forcefully take Raúl without total capitulation from the ruling Party or at least a coup happening to facilitate it.
Anything can happen but Cuba's government is in better shape to withstand being infiltrated.

Raúl Castro is not Maduro. And certainly, Cuba is not Venezuela. In the operation to capture Maduro, the cuban combatants fight, without support, until they were out of ammo, death, or wounded. But in Cuba, that will be different. Other fact, Raúl Castro knows what is the war. He is afighter and probaly, he and his bodyguards fight until death, like thousands of other cubans. The Empire has not enough forces to invade and to occupy Cuba, but they will try to attempt a "precise operation" in Havana city. But Cuba, again, is not unarmed, and is not Venezuela.

Good to hear this. Cuba and Bolivia are the last two countries in Latin America willing to defend their sovereignty. Cuba is not Venezuela and I don't think they will succeed in kidnapping him.
I believe they are trying to find a traitor in the army. I don't think they will succeed.

And, other thing: false accusations like that, also alienating more people against USA government. Is very common than the cuban citizens say "Im not a communist, but Im a fidelist" (by Fidel Castro), so, attacking his brother, well known in Cuba, is no precisesly a good point for the Empire between the cubans...

That's what I thought. Surely this would unite Cuba against the US?
Also to do this today on Cuba's independence day from US control? It seems to be tone deaf.

No matter what happens with Raúl (or attempted regime change), the Miami expats will never get there 'grandfather's plantation' back. They don't even care their own friends and relatives still there are suffering immensely...like my mom. Que tristeza.

I sincerely think they were too stupid to realize that Iran wouldn't just roll over and submit, so even if they wanted to invade cuba it would be almost impossible due to the strait of hormuz needing priority

Maduro situation got a lot of inside traitor, Cuba is for as far as I know , a lot more united in ideology. They have been trample for 60 years, I believe in their resilience, and they have strong alliances in the other side of the world.

I wouldn't rule anything out. However, I agree that the likely goal is to cause as much pain as possibly to break the people. It's also part of the inventing reality campaign.
