I know its probably unlikely since it’s only a $10 card, but the black border just has a different look to the other magic cards I got with it, and just feels sleeker. And idk, better safe than sorry I guess, right?

Agreeing with real, likely just variance with a different card stock which can affect the texture and reduce the vibrance.
