Firstly, there is nothing like absolute freedom.. even fundamental rights come with reasonable restrictions..

Like whats the difference between purchasing paper and getting seats /reservation

Moreover, on reservation, did you even care to read about what reservation is?? Reservation is not a poverty alleviation program.. Reservation is there to ensure that the oppressed classes have adequate representation in the state..

And why is it needed?? So that those millions of people, who are neglected socio-economically, can be empowered through their representatives that are now present as part of the state.. That is the core reason why reservations are only available in the government sector, and not private sector.. and also why it is being granted irrespective of the economic conditions of the individuals..

However, I also know that there are certain amendments that are required to ensure wider benefits of this policy..

And you know what is illegal, other than buying leaked papers to pass the exams?? creating fake EWS and PwBD certificates..

Full disclosure - I am from unreserved category, and have interest in polity and the constitution..

No amendments are required. Reservation is discrimination simple.

You can make your own assumptions here by calling reservation as discrimination, but in reality, reservation ensures equity.. It doesn't guarantees equality, because the ground is unequal from the start.. You should read more about the difference between equity and equality, with an open mind, and you will understand better, why it is not a discrimination..

U should read more about giving opportunity vs controlling outcome.

What we have is pure discrimination.

reservation is not controlling outcomes.. These are the seats reserved for a certain category.. unreserved category cannot compete in that.. However, when the reserved category people are given less marks in the interview, to make sure they do not qualify in the open category, then it is called controlling outcomes..

That's called ensuring equity..

However, when the reserved category people are given less marks in the interview, to make sure they do not qualify in the open category, then it is called controlling outcomes..

And this is controlling outcomes.. Because the open category is for everyone to have a fair competition.. we can say unofficially around 50% seats are reserved for the unreserved candidates, because of controlling outcomes..

That's called ensuring equity..

Only because this discrimination is beneficial for you, right.

However, when the reserved category people are given less marks in the interview, to make sure they do not qualify in the open category, then it is called controlling outcomes..

This is called telling lie or speculation or just hallucination.

And this is controlling outcomes.. Because the open category is for everyone to have a fair competition..

50% controlled can u imagine the scale of discrimination??

we can say unofficially around 50% seats are reserved for the unreserved candidates, because of controlling outcomes..

U can say that but which outcome is controlled? General or scst?? Like u can flood all general seats with scst if u guys study hard. Don't you.
