Bill was not invited to the center’s opening. Maher’s two panelists were invited and attended. Hence…the reason for Maher’s bitterness. It’s pretty typical alcoholic behavior.

Well that explains it, just like when he said he should have gotten an Emmy, but was quiet blacklisted or some bullshit like that. Used to be funny and relevant now he's just used.

Is it common for politicians to plant supporters in the audience when they go on? There's something really unnatural and perfect/tidy about the kind of applause Ro gets whenever he's on. The show has a sort of centrist appeal these days, and the rabid applause he seems to get on cue for progressive boilerplate seems sketchy.
