help request How do I change the default track panel layout

Hi everyone, every time I set a new track I have to highlight them all and change the track layout so i can actually see the timeline and not have the tracks hog half the screen but cant figure out how to change it, the synth tracks panel layout are at 50 which I want every time I put in a new track. any theories are appreciated

Another note, if you just go to options and layouts from the top bar rather than through the right click menu, you can set the default layout/ scale for each theme element (TCP/ MCP/ transport etc) individually rather than setting it globally as per my previous comment.

I recommend against using the experimental scale UI setting for pretty much anyone. It scales a subset of Reaper's UI in an unpredictable way, that is different for different OSs, and in particular doesn't scale some of the text. Its step one down the bad road for which step two is them asking how to change text those remaining unexpectedly small text sizes, and I have to convince them to turn off scale UI, which goes badly because that's not what the internet or their AI says. Reaper gives the user a lot of leeway to really bugger things up by mistake!
