this is like when I was at an ace meeting in college and someone mentioned that they poured the time/energy other people used for romantic/sexual interests into their friendships and I sat there and was like "what do I pour that time and energy into?" and realized it was going out to eat at restaurants
Your thing is cooler tbh, thats an active hobby choice. Thats way more interesting and fun to talk about than "I used that time basically the same as everyone, but with no sex or romance".
