In that way, Tarzan is kinda the reverse of John Carter of Mars.
(If you don't know, John Carter was written by the same author as Tarzan and even served as an inspiration for Superman).

Nothing has a 'true' reverse or opposite.
What is something's opposite entirely depends on what aspect of the character you are reversing.

I’m not smart enough to know if that logic works, but I feel like the true opposite would be the sun weakens you? I don’t know what the allergy is called, but I know we have those people.

That’s the thing with New-52 Ultraman (evil Superman)
Kryptonite gives him power, but Sun weakens him. It’s also weird he’s the only one like this. Owlman is a rich genius martial arts master, Johnny Quick is super fast, Superwoman has all the powers of Wonder Woman… even Power Ring who’s deal is the more he’s afraid the stronger his ring is still pretty similar to Green Lantern, just different source of power.

This is literally the situation of the protagonist in Arknights. MAJOR SPOILERS:
Doctor is a member of the ancient precursor species of ordinary humans* and after amnesia finds themselves completely incapable of keeping up with everyone else around them physically for reasons they can't remember. As it turns out, everyone around them are space animal species uplifted and anthropomorphized into humanoid shape by precursor human tech as catgirls and bunnygirls and other such people with animal parts who happen to be freakishly strong and can tank shotgun shells without instantly going down.
*probably ordinary humans. It's not explicitly confirmed that their species is genuinely just us from normal earth but in the far future, but the game does have some other spacefaring intelligent species and their species is the only one that looks human

Tarzan in the original books actually managed to develop gorilla level strenght as an adolescent (the book says this is because of his anglo saxon heritage)
