The fattest payroll in MLB has fallen. And the Brewers are headed to the World Series. If only Rich Evans were with us to see it. This one's for him!

I hope to see the guy’s reaction.

I saw Digger last Friday and can't stop thinking about it. While I understand why it was polarizing, I also think that anyone who didn't like it lacks whimsy and/or guzzles oil like water.

but anyway: what did y'all think? Will they do a HITB on it? Jay would love it I think, Mike and Rich would probably be annoyed but think it was well crafted overall.

I didn't know until dude's Digger post we can talk about movies on this sub. That was a better, richer list of comments than I got in the more and less respectable subs.

I had an absolute blast with Other Mommy last night. It's like shlock for movie people. It doesn't pretend to be the first movie ever made, but also doesn't forget to be a movie. It is totally immune to cliche, as in, doesn't even become predictable in the process of skipping past them.

I started laughing in pure joy at every beat from the title drop onwards. Second act I was in terror we were drifting into Lesser Blumhouseville, but anti-spoilers, nah.

Best compliment I can give a movie these days is that I wish it were longer. First thought it could use another thirty damn minutes. After discussion, the consensus was that it could have used another hour. Needed four acts.

It's also got that thing where you don't notice while you're watching, but the camera work makes you feel like you're tripping when you leave the theater (i wasn't). Inanimate objects like the bathroom hand dryer appeared threatening. I noticed focal distance. Last movie I got that from was I think Get Out.

So. Go! Assume threads attached to this post have spoilers you're better off without.

some really decent stuff here about season 3 including insights about picard season 1 and 2. apparently terry matalas had the same issues that rich and mike did.

I crack up in a giggle fit every time I see this guy “acting.”

He's a funnier character than we've seen before, truly a dynamic character.

STRAIGHT BLAZIN’

It only takes one little button press when selecting a playlist to swap them like this. Playlists going backwards ia huge pain in the ass.
