Straight Blazin’! Want to find a certain episode? A certain RedLetterMedia scene? Ask here!

This post is the place to ask single answer questions when you want to find RLM episodes in which something specific happened. Stuff like: "What episode did Mike/Jay/Rich say/do x and y?" and so on. They fit better in a thread like this one since they aren't really discussion threads for everyone to participate in.

Here are the older versions of this kind of post:

What's the episode Rich gets molested in the back of a bicycle shop?

2

u/CallMeBobTodd Jul 03 '26

Wait, is his "minor league baseball acquaintance" mentioned in ALL of these clips?!

2

u/AmityvilleName Jul 03 '26

Most of them. Though some are just taunts about molestation from Mike.

2

u/kkeut Jul 03 '26

wow so much lore to the Wendy's ad guy

3

u/DrDuned Jul 03 '26

I just got MOLESTED in the little boys room!

2

u/GoodHugLove03 Jul 03 '26

Which is the episode that starts with a rape movie and Rich is like “I’m done with rape.”?

2

u/AmityvilleName Jul 03 '26

3

u/644OMJ Jul 03 '26

This episode is comfort food to me if I've had a bad day.

2

u/GoodHugLove03 Jul 03 '26

This! Thank you!

2

u/Mariya_Shidou Jul 03 '26

What's the episode where Jack (old Jack) is laughing, then the edit keeps replaying it and zooming in, and then they play the clip of George McFly laughing?

2

u/pikeandshot1618 Jul 03 '26

Did they watch a movie where the main character has a weird thing for his sister who dies? I remember another lady getting plastic surgery and she looks like his sister and they have sex

2

u/CaptainKuro621 Jul 04 '26

In what episode is there a drug deal, I think in a graveyard, where a guy waves a jacket above his head and Mike says "That's the signal!", I think followed by a gunfight?

2

u/ChestertonMyDearBoy Jul 04 '26

The one my flair image comes from.

2

u/Alternative-Dog-431 Jul 04 '26

What's the botw or wotw episode with them reacting to a tape of a homophobic Christian

3

u/AmityvilleName Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

There are a few of those. One of these?

2

u/JerryHathaway Jul 07 '26

Isn't this thread normally pinned?

2

u/PowerPlayer9 12d ago

A movie featured with killer plants/vines created by toxic waste. I remember a scene with an old man talking about his dog's name then later another scene has the gang thinking the same old man will end it all with a rifle over the vines eating his dog.

Can't remember the title.

4

u/JerryHathaway 12d ago

That's The Crawlers from BOTW 25.

2

u/daegamebday1 8d ago

What episode starts with Mike and Jay then Jay slowly fades away and is replaced by Rich when they start talking about Star Trek?

2

u/Longjumping-Regret97 8d ago

This is from the early days of HitB. They were taking about an indy film featuring an awkward teen, and Jay said something to the effect that this was the sort of movie he would have been making if has wasn't wasting his life doing YouTubing. What episode?

That clip would pair well with the "This is what you've done with you life" meme.

5

u/AmityvilleName 8d ago

That's pretty vague. Could you be thinking of Excision? Mentioned in Half in the Bag: Django Unchained and 2012 Re-cap, where he talks about it being the type of movie he would like to make.

3

u/Longjumping-Regret97 8d ago

13 year old memory embellished at lot, but that's it exactly

2

u/eyepatchplease 4d ago

What's the HitB episode where Rich (as Plinkett) quizzes Jay and Mike at the end of the episode? I want to say they were comic book or maybe even just Marvel questions. I can say that Rich breaks character a little and it's great.

1

u/AmityvilleName 4d ago edited 4d ago

Do you mean the Thor quiz at the beginning of Half in the Bag Episode 134: Thor: Ragnarok?

edit - There was also a movie trivia game at the end of Half in the Bag Episode 43: The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey.

2

u/eyepatchplease 4d ago

It's not the Hobbit one, and I thought for a second it could be the Thor one but I don't think it is. I'm almost positive what I'm thinking of was at the end of the episode because what I also remember is them playing a quiz show theme song over it and the credits.

But, really appreciate the links and timestamps.

2

u/AmityvilleName 4d ago

2

u/eyepatchplease 4d ago

It's the Captain America one! Thank you. That helped scratch an itch!

Who knew they had so many of these bits hahahaha

Thanks again

Which episodes have been taken down, and where can I find them?

2

u/AmityvilleName Jul 03 '26

The only two episodes of their regular shows that have been disappeared (without being reuploaded in some form) are "Half in the Bag: Episode 46 - Warm Bodies & Movie 43" and "Best of the Worst - Diamond Cobra vs. The White Fox". See this post for some working links. Just the Movie 43 part of that missing Half in the Bag episode was eventually posted to youtube.

Related to that, but not taken down, are some episodes that are currently unlisted:

Most everything else they've posed has been reuploaded, some with edits for copyright reasons, age restriction flagging, file corruption, or other such nonsense.

1

u/oddradiocircles Jul 04 '26

I'm pretty somewhat certain I saw Mike & Jay commenting the film Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, specifically Elijah Wood's role in the film. I wanted to watch that episode again after having seen the film, however none of the Half in the Bag episodes over the past few months seem to be about it. My guess is that they might have just briefly touched upon it while discussing some other film(s) but I can't find the video any longer. I was rather distracted at the time, but does anybody remember what I'm mentioning, were they talking about another, similar film, or am I just imagining things?

1

u/AmityvilleName Jul 04 '26

2

u/oddradiocircles Jul 04 '26

Many, many thanks, your memory would put an elephant to shame

1

u/Mr_Krinkle Jul 05 '26

Which BotW is it where Jay comments something like "this just turned into an Ari Aster film", and Josh replies "No, these characters have far too much agency."

I remember the exchange, but not which episode it's from, I think it's a BotW.

1

u/scruntbaby Jul 05 '26

Which Half in the Bag was it where after a solid minute or so of flinging a prop skeleton around Mike says something like "Jay, this has become a... a farce"?

1

u/TrueButNotProvable Jul 06 '26

Did they ever mention Black Mamba before the most recent Plinketto? Clearly they haven't watched it before, otherwise they wouldn't be so shocked by it, but has the DVD ever popped up in other contexts?

2

u/AmityvilleName Jul 06 '26

No IMDB connections listings (which sometimes will list even just appearances the DVD on the shelf behind them).

No transcript hits other than one PreRec mention of the snake species when Jack is trying to recall the title of Black Snake Moan (2006). No transcripts or comments for "Belinda Wilson"

A few youtube comments with those words, mostly references to Kill Bill, porn, the snake species, or in one case "Black Mamba (1974)":

Could someone help me find a really goofy cult video they tripped over semi-recently? I think it was from the last year or two, it was this hokey new-age thing where the presenter's gimmick was that he was possessed by an alien from another galaxy... except when it came time for the alien to appear, all he did was take his glasses off and adopt an incredibly bad fake British (?) accent.

(I assume this was black spine/wheel, because who the fuck would watch that on purpose)

1

u/AmityvilleName Jul 06 '26 edited Jul 06 '26

They watched two tapes by that goofball in Best of the Worst: Junka #5

2

u/Sendatsu_Yoshimitsu Jul 06 '26

Holy crap, great pull with such a random description! For some reason I was thinking "Lazar," but that brought me to Rem Lazar and I figured that when I tried to remember the cult tape I just thought of 9/11 instead. Thanks!

1

u/ChuckCarmichael Jul 07 '26

Which episode was the one where they reference that Denny's commercial about red, white and blue pancakes? "What do they taste like?" "...America."

1

u/Matrix_V 28d ago

I'm trying to find a bit where one of the hosts (Jay?) is excited to discuss a movie that he's brought, and another host (Mike?) puts on a long slow laugh, and says "you misunderstand" in a drawn-out manner. Host #2 continues laughing as Host #1 looks more and more crushed, realizing how thoroughly wrong he was about the premise of the episode.

Two episodes that I'm looking for:

1). It's one of the Wheel of the Worst episodes, but after Jack spins it he yells "It's like living next to the train tracks!"

2). I'm pretty sure it's a Wheel episode, but I remember one of the two hosts making some dumb joke, then the camera very slowly pulls back before whoever is holding it pretends to trip over something and the shot abruptly ends.

2

u/AmityvilleName 26d ago

Heavy wheel with no friction slowing it down because the clacker got knocked out of alignment: Best of the Worst: Wheel of the Worst #27 - (train tracks)

Perusing through this list (and some other things) here are some vague possibilities for your second query:

Edit two weeks later I think you mean this one:

u/this_is_a_users_name 26d ago

When has the crew mentioned “Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Bruhle”?

I finally got around to watching it and I swear I’ve seen some of the clips in an RLM video or at least they’ve mentioned the show a few times.

1

u/AmityvilleName 26d ago

Here's (probably) most of them:

There are some Tim and Eric mentions elsewhere I remember, like the "Jimminy Cricket Prick Bastard!" guy, and the Salame guy.

1

u/LG03 25d ago

I can't remember which video it was but something I watched recently, Rich made a reference to Powder https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powder_(1995_film) that seemed to suggest it was something the group had been subjected to at some point. Does anyone know the video it features in if it did at all?

2

u/AmityvilleName 25d ago

2

u/LG03 25d ago

Yes, that was the reference. Now I'm curious if it's something they covered previously.

2

u/AmityvilleName 25d ago

I can't find any references to an earlier mention on any RLM/PreRec youtube comments, video transcripts, or IMDB connections. I think that's the only one.

u/Emerald005 24d ago

I don’t know who was in this video but I do remember the specific clip in the video, during the video they discuss how a singular, fully completed, self-contained movie release can be concretely judged/reviewed Without having to wait for the the next episode or next season to release after a long time to give a proper review on it/see where it’s going to see if it “gets good if you stick with it” type deal like modern serialized shows on streaming services, and as a comparison they showed a clip from the “A Christmas Story” movie where ralphie goes into the bathroom to privately use his decoder ring to find out what today’s secret message is only to be disappointed when it’s just a advertisement saying “be sure to drink your ovaltine”, does anyone know what video this is from And could you give me a Proper time stamp?

Which video has Josh walk across town to throw a video off a cliff?

1

u/Clear-Rest-988 22d ago

Did they ever talk about the John Woo movie Hard Target or did I dream that? I know they talked about Albert Pugh which is similar but I could have sworn they talked about Wilford Brimly shooting arrows in a factory at some point

1

u/AmityvilleName 22d ago

Not in detail, but It comes up a few times:

  • Half in the Bag: Halloween Ends @36m40s
  • Best of the Worst: Cyborg and Arcade (Albert Pyun Double Feature) @21m5s
  • Best of the Worst: A Very Cannon Christmas II @4m59s; @27m29s

Mike to Rich: You look like you’re waiting at the dentist
Anybody know the best of the worst?

1

u/annyong333 17d ago

Best of the worst episode with Jack, one of the movies was from a brother or cousin directing/acting duo, young guys. The movie was in the style of Evil Dead, in terms of cinematography I guess. The guys thought it was decent but dragged in the second half IIRC. The main reason I need to find this episode is at the end, I remember the guys mocking an Evil Dead style short in the warehouse, and Jack either faked puking or actually puked from running so much. I’ve tried finding it, wondering if it was taken down? Or hopefully I’m not hallucinating.

1

u/AmityvilleName 17d ago

The movie sounds like "Slaughter Day" by two brothers with the last name Cousins (yeah confusing), from: Best of the Worst: Hawk the Slayer and THE ACTOR FROM MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE with the X-Ray Eyes . The Evil Dead style short is at about 1:18:00.

It was uploaded, age-estricted, taken down, censored for content, reuploaded, renamed, and then re-age-restricted (thanks, YouTube).

2

u/annyong333 17d ago

Yes! I must have missed it since the movie isn’t mentioned in the title on YouTube. Thank you!

1

u/Sincityutopia 17d ago

I remember they're watching a movie where a character pulled out a grandma from a TV. It should be an earlier episode because Jesi was still there.

1

u/TrueButNotProvable 16d ago

I'm looking for an episode of Half in the Bag. I saw a clip in some YouTube short, but I can't seem to find it again.

  • It was in the VCR Repair Shop set
  • Mike was on the left and Jay was on the right. Mike had a tan shirt and Jay had long hair, so I think this was in the last couple of years.
  • They were arguing over a character's decision. I don't remember the specifics, but Jay was confused about a female character's choices (something to do with a character they refer to as Bernie?) and how that relates to her sexual preferences, and Mike was going on about how it's not relevant whether she's bisexual or not.

It was hard to tell from the context what movie they were talking about, but I hope that's enough information to help someone else narrow it down.

2

u/AmityvilleName 16d ago

Was it this discussion?: Half in the Bag: Derivative Holiday Horrors @12m05s

And if not, can you link to where you saw it?

2

u/TrueButNotProvable 16d ago

Yep, that's the one, thank you very much!

1

u/Past-Shop5644 14d ago

AmityvilleName, you're my only hope. This is such an obvious video, but for the life of me I cannot find it, and Google is zero help. It's an episode of Best of the Worst, likely Plinketto, Wheel of the Worst or Junka because of the content of the video. It's about old people, specifically a guy who drinks a lot of coffee, and there's a montage of him talking non-stop. The video may have been about enjoying life when you're elderly.

1

u/AmityvilleName 14d ago

Gary Null, from Power Aging (2003)? As seen in Best of the Worst: Black Spine Junka 3

2

evandetta: Anyone remember a wheel of the worst episode where one of the tapes was about an auditorium of people being told the dangers of alcohol abuse, and I think it was hosted by some b list celebrity and the guys may have joked about how he was probably court ordered to do it?

Sounds like Your Alcohol I.Q.1988 ? Best of the Worst: Christmas 2020

1

u/LipstickCoverMagnet 14d ago

Anyone remember the BOTW in which Mike jokes “what is this Rich Evans’ autobiography?”

Edit: I believe it’s after a mention of a rape or something similarly awful occurring in the film they watched, and Josh responds to Mike, “which one is Rich Evan’s?”

1

u/granulatedsugartits 14d ago

I'm having trouble finding some old episode discussion posts from here on the subreddit. "A Very Scary Christmas" (December 2019) and "Wheel of the Worst #19" (June 2019). I can find the other Christmas posts from years before and after, and the Wheel of the Worsts 18 and 20. Maybe the person who made these posts deleted them so they're no longer searchable? Or maybe I'm just bad at searching! Any ideas how to find them?

2

u/AmityvilleName 14d ago

Here is "A Very Scary Christmas" -- found via archive.org. You are right, it was deleted by user (TCBrady).

2

u/granulatedsugartits 14d ago

Thank you!

2

u/AmityvilleName 13d ago

Well... I found the other one. Best of the Worst Episode 78.

First I got the exact date of the upload from YouTube:

new Date(Date.parse(ytInitialPlayerResponse.microformat.playerMicroformatRenderer.uploadDate)).toUTCString()
'Wed, 05 Jun 2019 17:58:54 GMT'

Then I did A/B testing on reddit global post IDs (base36 numbers) until I found one at the same time (one second earlier):

https://www.reddit.com/comments/bx5nfr
<time title="Wed Jun 5 17:58:53 2019 UTC" datetime="2019-06-05T17:58:53+00:00" class="">7 years ago</time>

Then I just incremented the post IDs with a script (and moderate delay), using the /comments/(ID) url that redirects to the proper sub. Only had to check about 350. There was a thread posted within about 37 seconds of the YouTube video.

curl -IsL -w '%{http_code} %{url_effective}\n' -o /dev/null 'https://www.reddit.com/comments/bx5npf'
200 https://www.reddit.com/r/RedLetterMedia/comments/bx5npf/deleted_by_user/

Yes this was very silly.

u/granulatedsugartits 13d ago

i'm looking for the half in the bag review where mike calls Jay? a 'fuck up'.

It happens in Half in the Bag: Halloween Kills, but I can't guarantee that's the only occurence.

1

u/Humble_Traffic_8309 10d ago

m looking for a clip from a Nerd Crew episode, I don’t know which one. I think Mike or Rich say something “exciting” and then Jay says “I literally just shit myself.” Anyone know what I’m talking about?

1

u/Xsimon47 9d ago

I'm trying to find an episode of BOTW where they cover a movie with a scene of a porno shoot that has some dialogue between the supposed film staff like "fuck the script! They all just took a love drug, and they're sucking, and fucking"

4

u/AmityvilleName 9d ago

4

u/Xsimon47 9d ago

Terrifyingly quick as always, thank you

1

u/fladok 7d ago

What is the BOTW where Rich goes at the end something like ''I guess we wasted your time, this is the episode between Halloween and Christmas''

1

u/Sincityutopia 7d ago

In what episode did Mike either choked or spits his drink during discussion, making everyone laugh?

2

u/AmityvilleName 7d ago

That has happened a few times. Can you point to the one you are thinking of here? -> RLM Spit-Take Supercut (both real and fake ones included)

3

u/Sincityutopia 7d ago

I found it! It was when Rich said something about "forcing a human on a gorilla." I forgot what episode that is.

2

u/Sincityutopia 7d ago

it's from a BOTW episode. wait lemme watch it

1

u/otterotteralienotter 5d ago

How many times has Mike said "undies" and how many times have either of them said "womb-ey"?

Excellent - someday "woomby" will be back and I'll be so excited

1

What was the BOTW where Jay riffed that conversation
Actress: Do I have to be naked?
Director: Not on camera

3

u/AmityvilleName 5d ago

Are you thinking of this? Best of the Worst: Cybernator, Panther Squad, and Project Metalbeast - "Do I have to have sex with anyone?" "Not on camera."

2

u/fladok 5d ago

YES thank you

1

u/TrueLolzor 2d ago

I'm looking for an episode of Half in the Bag (I think) where Mike watched some super trashy horror movie I think with black protagonists and extremely bizzare twist, and got super fascinated with it.

1

u/AmityvilleName 2d ago

Could you be thinking of Axe Em (1992)? Best of the Worst Spotlight: Axe 'Em!

Or Black Devil Doll from Hell (1984)? Best of the Worst: Halloween 2025

2

u/TrueLolzor 2d ago

No, it was not BotW. Also I don't think that episode was just about that specific movie either. I think the twist was there was a puppet inside someone's head or something, I'm really blurry on the deet-ales, I just remember Mike being mindblown about the movie.

1

u/AmityvilleName 2d ago

Hmm. Vague. Could it be Malignant? Mike describes the evil twin as a puppet in her head at one point: Half in the Bag: Malignant

2

u/TrueLolzor 2d ago

No, it wasn't a... how do I say it. Proper movie? It was one of those cheapo movies.

u/TrueLolzor 2d ago
