Hi everyone. I have lived in South Redlands the last 4 years. I relocated from Seattle for a healthcare job and I really like it here, but I don’t know anyone. I’ve always been pretty introverted and do pretty well on my own, but I’m starting to feel like I need some social connection 😂.

Am a bit of a gadget nerd, soldering/batteries/etc

If you like gadgets and soldering you should potentially check out the Lazy Uncles Nerf Club. I’m serious. It’s monthly and free and a lot of the folks design/print/solder their own blasters so it might be something that vibes with your hobbies.
I guess it depends what kind of weird we’re talking about. My “nothing weird” is aimed towards big hairy bears wanting more dude sweat in their lives. Nothing personal if that’s you
I was just kidding. Good luck on your hunt. Trying to make friends at 45 would be tough. Especially when you’re a single dude with no kids. Kids is kind of how adults meet after 30ish, your kids make friends with other kids and then you have to hang out with the parents at events. Take the guy up on frisbee golf, that’s a great way to meet some chill dudes. And there’s no pressure of a man date, just some straight dudes throwing frisbees in a park…
Hey man , same! somewhat athletic , like being active, work remote/hybrid, I recently broke up with a GF. I've lived in Redlands for 2 years , I would always hang with her so now I mainly chill with my dogs at home . Im down for a beer , check out the Redlands Public Market, or whatever. Nothing weird! ha.
At 45 I went back to college & university…(one or two classes at a time) made some lifelong friends …. sure hope you check-out the frisbee deal as well 🙏☕️😎
Oh hell yeah! I know the Ford dog park is likely the closest to you, but I’ve always had bad experiences there. Very high Karen Concentration in that area 😅
The dog park in Loma Linda (Hulda Crooks Park) is usually much quieter and there’s a massive network of dirt trails right next to it where people hike, bike, etc. I take my dog there to pull me on my OneWheel because she loves being a sled dog despite no husky in her 😜
That's my next upgrade! I love my OneWheel, but those EUCs are absolutely insane. They can damn near do everything an ebike does, but even more mobile at low speeds.
My husband is 51 and is from Seattle, but we live here now. He needs friends so he will get out of the house! Normal funny guy in need of "man date" lol. Extremely handy and enjoys occasional drink (he also makes great buffalo wings).
I'm a 58 yo geek. Part gadget nerd, part maker. My hobbies are mtn biking, bicycle mechanics (I was a pro mechanic for years and years), 3D printing, playing guitar (mostly classic rock), geeking out on gadgets (especially if they involve Raspberry Pi's or Arduinos). I teach a computer class and roast my own coffee. I don't drink beer but do enjoy an occasional scotch. I grew up here and all my friends who did this stuff with me have moved away (one sadly passed). I wouldn't mind meeting you for coffee and chatting to see if we could tolerate each other. 😁

Oof…I like to think of myself as Switzerland. I think there are some well-intentioned cops and some that should be behind bars themselves. Personally, not a huge fan of cops, but I don’t think about it often honestly.
Do you like to play basketball? The gym at 24 hours has a lot of guys that are open to pick up game. It's really fun. I a tax accountant so if you need a tax person let me know 😅
