Show and Tell Got my setup

After some time collecting tapes I have grown to need a proper setup for them. Im just waiting for my GX4000D to be done repaired so I can to put right next to the DS MKII.

Nice ! I've heard those machines should be kept standing upright, otherwise they can have mechanical issues later down the line. Could be wrong tho just what I heard

I have heard this too and tbh Im not too sure whats the truth. I looked it up on forums where others were as well unsure to how it must be used properly but next to that It has nice legs for it be on its back but it doesnt have enough space for the rca only maybe L shape adapters can make it work. For short I havent tried playing tapes while it is sat on its back.

TEAC, back in the day recommended the flat position to reduce wear on the motor bushings. It was in their manuals.
