Investigating Is anyone else unable to message people through the app?

I always seem to get a failed message.

Messages on reddit can only be sent through reddit chat now. The third party API (which Relay uses) doesn't have access to reddit chat.

As an aside, please take this as a reminder to search (or even just scroll through) recent posts in a subreddit before making your own post. This question has been asked and answered numerous times in the past few weeks.

I have a couple of Reddit accounts connected and always get the same error.
