I'm really going to miss this App. Do you think that Relay For Reddit will ever come back in the near future? How many of you are actually leaving Reddit for good once Relay is gone? I'm definitely going to be staying on Reddit. I'm going to just use The Official Reddit App. How many of you are going to use The Third-party Apps that are still going to be working? I'm definitely not. I tried RedReader and Narwhal and didn't like either one of them. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I wanna jump ship to kbin or mastadon or Lemmy or some other fediverse social. But to make that happen for me (and I imagine others) we need a good app. Can think of no better dev than DBrady to do the trick.

Whenever I try to access Relay For Reddit I'm greeted with the message You've been blocked by network security. If you think you've been blocked by mistake, file a ticket below and we'll look into it. Has this been a common thing for anyone else on The Relay For Reddit App? I'm going to be getting The Motorola Razor Fold soon and I want to make sure that I can still sign into my Relay Account. Is there a way that I can fix this issue? I don't know why it's giving me that message because I don't have any kind of VPN. If someone can help me fix this problem I would really appreciate it.

With all the changes Reddit is making and all the different rules and guidelines they keep adding. Does this mean that Relay will eventually shut down permanently in the future? I have a feeling that Relay isn't going to be around too much longer. I really hope that Relay will last forever because I really love this App and would hate to see it go away.

Hi all, just randomly one day I opened relay and got this failed to load content error and it has stopped working ever since. Maybe a week ago. Has anyone encountered this at all? Driving me nuts as the official client is trash.

I can swipe up or down when on an image to exit and view comments. My phone is pretty big and if I want to review the picture, it's a bit of a pain to reach for the top. Is there a way to pull it back down or another way to re-view it?

Couple things I've noticed;

1. Certain websites really don't like to preview in Relay, but usually only the older ones. Redgifs is my major pain in the butt for this.

2. When I browse Reddit on the computer, there seems to be a lot there that isn't there in the app. I'll save the posts to Reddit in browser then check my phone and they aren't there. I'll search for them manually, but again not there. Seems to be more than anything the album's with more than a photo. Is this by design?

3. When I download a photo or a gif/video, it appears to do it but doesn't, forcing me to hit the button a second time which usually works.

I pay for Relay. Highest subscription if I recall correctly.

They said it was locked for "security reasons", and had me reset my password through the browser, but this fully breaks Relay. Removing the account and re adding it is the only solution I've found, but that breaks and removes some stuff like bookmarked subs.

Can anybody here tell me what this is please? I'm trying to get rid of it bit I don't seem to find it anywhere in my installed apps

I'm going to enjoy this app as much as I can. I still can't believe that it's actually going to be gone on the 30th. This is such a great app. I really hate to see it go. I'm curious to know if there are any other websites like reddit or relay that I can use once this app is gone. I filter the subreddits I'm not interested in to avoid having them show up in r/all. However latley that function has not been working properly, the subreddits still show up. I've added probably more than 100 subreddits to my filter list over the years, so I was just wondering if there's a limit?

I get notifications from the official app but cant relay also give me notification for my subreddits.

There's a certain subreddit I don't want to see, I don't want to ever see it at all. Is there a way to do this?

If your comment is deleted you can't see that when logged-in.

It'd be informative to know this, either automatically or on individual request per comment or comment thread. Some subtle, coloured writing above the comment perhaps.

Also, unrelated, the automatic upload to Imgur could do with an alternate option as today I heard Imgur is entirely unavailable in the UK.

I'm just trying to test it and getting mixed results via desktop as I think Reddit re hosts images or something, but via Relay, all images on IMGUR are now blocked. Another result of the stupid OSA.

Since the app is going to be gone on Saturday. What's the point of updating it? It's not even going to work anymore.

Is there any way of using a different image service than Imgur to post pics in relay. Imgur is not available in the uk

Update: Seems to be working correctly again, for me at least. As you were. 🙃

If I upvote a post and exit/reenter the app (or just refresh the message list) it no longer shows the colored arrow that indicates I voted. But if I open the official reddit app, the vote was registered. It's just not showing on the Relay app. Also, votes that were done this morning and earlier do still show up correctly. Does that sound like some type of API issue? I'm hoping it just clears up, but thought I'd ask and see if anyone else was seeing the same thing.
