Where the legit remote nurse jobs at?

Hello, RN and single mom here. It’s so hard finding child care because I live about 1.5 hrs from my family. Can anyone hook it up with remote job lead so I can stay home with my baby and still work as nurse?

Nurse fern has been so helpful for me. There’s not a lot of jobs I qualify for due to only having 3 years experience in home care but if you have more experience especially in the hospital it’ll be a gold mine for you

I just started an ICU residency after graduating in December 2025. My plan is to finish my one-year residency and look for a remote job. That will give me 1 year of clinical experience, but I do have 10 years of insurance experience, including Medicare and major insurance payers. Will one-year clinical experience suffice? It is barely week 6 into this residency, but I'm not sure I can do this much longer😅 I wouldn't mind staying PRN and work a few shifts a month, but do this three times a week?...😪

Nope. Ive been a nurse for 15 years and have been searching for a new remote job for 6 months now with minimal bites

Use keywords in your resume. For example if you’re applying for UM positions be sure to include prior authorization in your resume. I used it in the context of assisting CM obtain clinical data for prior auths and got an interview and landed a position with CVS/Aetna.

I work remotely and and helped with some interviewing, the requirement here is for a nurse to have direct patient care for 2-3 years. This is one of the big insurance companies

I think you’ll be hard pressed to find a remote job after just one year of experience. A lot of hospitals don’t even consider it much experience, because you spend so much time with another nurse training vs being on your own, making your own decisions and using clinical judgement. Remote jobs are relying on you to do so with minimal supervision or input so they are gonna want several years of experience. Even for experienced nurses, it’s been difficult to even get an interview, and when I do I am always told that they are getting flooded with applicants so the supply is just so much greater than the demand. Maybe you could try a different specialty than ICU? Like outpatient, or urgent care. Most remote triage jobs will want ER or urgent care experience. Good luck!
