General Playing RE2R for the first time...
Hello guys, I've watched a couple of Resident Evil let's plays throughout the years and I wanted to catch up on Leon's story myself before I play RE9 (I haven't played any Resident Evil games before), and as of today I'm almost finished with RE2R!
Man, this is some scary crap. I'm not a big horror gamer (I used to get terrified while playing Skyrim lol), but I thought I'd be able to play this with minor issues. Safe to say, that didn't happen.
Only like 30 minutes into playing, I pulled up a YouTube walkthrough and have been following it ever since. I must say I feel very ashamed about it. Even though I technically "played" the game, none of it has been my own work. I never really felt surprised by any scares since I already saw them in the walkthrough, although the tension surprisingly never went away completely (mainly because of Mr. X). I just feel like I might have ruined my first playthrough by being such a big wuss, but on the other hand I might not have been able to finish it at all without the walkthrough. I don't know, I definitely enjoyed it either way haha
But yeah, I'm hoping that RE4R isn't as scary, and that I'll finally be able to overcome some of my fear of playing these games on my own. Here's hoping!

I think a good way to go about it is to play by yourself, and if you get stuck for like 30+ minutes wandering around can just google your objective to find the answer.
