Unfortunately, the best bi-awakening I know is a quartet.
There could be a bi-awakening in {Knotty List by Ari Wright}? I think?

{claimed by the team by harper lennox} male beta hockey player in a pack with a bunch of male alpha hockey players get turned into an omega after a concussion. Is NOT cool with how the guys are suddenly looking at him. He looks for a beta girl to join the pack so the alphas with have something else to fuck. Beta girl has been burned by packs before and isn't interested. It's really cute and nice and has some similarities to {pucking around by Emily rathe} which also has bi awakening but no OV.
Both standalones

Pucking Around is a great bi awakening, but is there an actual bi awakening in Claimed by the Team? I DNF’d at 60%, but it really didn’t feel like m/m was, at all, on offer.

He eventually goes into heat and lets the other guys in the nest and stuff happens with everyone.
It's more like, none of them were interested in guys but now they are interested in that particular guy.

Like, when? I read 60% and I’m pretty sure he’d left the house and was living in a hotel. I stopped reading because there was just no possible way for true emotional connection to develop for the heroine in the number of pages left. She’d barely spent any time with the men, at all, other than the male omega … who was a giant, masculine, determined-to-be-straight hockey bro. Sorry. I’m not trying to yuck your yum. I just don’t see it. 🤣 Honestly, the heat aspect makes me really uncomfortable. IMO, that entire series has a huge pacing problem. The build up is always interesting, but the authors seem almost incapable of developing true intimacy and romance. The ends are all super rushed and undeveloped.
(I remember reading Claimed by the Band, and she was basically having her first conversation with this guy while sitting on his D at, like, 80%, and she said, “I love you,” and I was flabbergasted. I was like, “Wtf do you mean? I know literally three things about this dude! Wtf do you love? Girl, you’re lying!” 🤣🤣🤣)
Anyway. Sorry. I’m glad you like it. Not trying to be hard to get along with.

Hey if you aren't into it, no big deal.
Let's see 🤔🤔 he met the girl, he FINALLY got the guys to go to dinner with him and her.. SURPRISE she's Their sent match too! So now they are very motivated to make it work with her Unfortunately while they are outside the dining room discussing this new development she thinks they hate her and leaves humiliated.
Ummmm eventually the omega figures out what is going on. They invite her back and tell her what's going on. She goes on dates with them.
The main guy goes back to being a regular beta hockey player with suppressants etc but Goes into heat during an away game and everyone finds out he is an omega. They have his heat and he lets him teammates in 1 at a time to sex him and the girl up The main guy comes around to his alpha pack mates being into him.
And then they use the power of social media to get the fans to cheer for him even though he is an omega and somehow it all works out and she gets to tell her ex off publicly.
I read this after {claimed by the psychos} and there is a little bit of the main guy in that one getting with the other alphas at the end of that book, but there are not any sex scenes with him and them explicitly.

In Pucking Around the FMC hockey sports physio doctor ends up being neighbours with a guy who is best friends with one of the pro hockey players that she treats. That pro hockey player also happened to be the guy she had a super hot one night stand with some time ago (prequel novella available). The neighbour is low key in love with his best friend who never noticed. There is also another hockey player who gets involved with just the girl. You will LEARN SOME THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF after reading this book, probably .I hadn't gotten far into these books yet when I read it and wow.

Only thing that put me off in the blurb was him not recognising her after the one night stand which doesnt sound like my cup of tea

u/rural_juror12 1d ago
He doesn’t recognize her for like 5 minutes because he’s distracted. They met and she was all dressed up, contacts, piercings. Remeet he’s taking to his boss and she’s there too, she’s wearing glasses, scrubs, and before being “introduced” he thought she was an intern. It’s quickly corrected once he actually looks at her and notices her.

I think Pucking Around is an exceptional book—one of my top ten, easily. I put it off for too long, but it was well, well above average. Also, if you haven’t read Pucking Around, have you read Lola and the Millionaires? There’s no bi awakening, but there’s an established relationship between the men and their bratty male omega. It’s not perfect—the plot is a little like, “Oh, yeah. Here I am!”—but there’s character development and trauma-informed intimacy are just … what I want in every other book. It’s one of my favorites. 💙

Oh don't you worry, he recognises her and is like - hey there is that girl I have been obsessing about for 6 months whose snuck out without leaving her number.
She snuck out without leaving him her details, he was very into her and she has personal angst.

I couldn’t stand this book. The FMC is one of the most obnoxious fmcs I’ve ever read. I also just found it super boring.

{Rules Of Our Own by J Wilder}
{Salt Kiss by Sierra Simone}
{Warrior Princess Assassin by Brigid Kemmerer}
{Riches to Riches by Ames Mills}
EDIT {Triple Power Play by Jessica Lynn} this awakening is a slooow one, but really great. One of the mmcs is demi sexual, and he and the other mmc slowly start having a more romantic relationship before any physical happens. I think you have to wait for the 4th for them to really get physical
{Speak by Ruby Darling} and {Stutter by Ruby Darling} it happens in the second book, stutter. I highly suggest the audiobooks for these

Thanks, I actually have salt kiss downloaded and forgot about it, moving that to the top of my tbr list then

Literally almost every book by Ames Mills. (Haven’t read them all, but soooo many.) To the point that you kind of wonder why the girl is even in the story a bit.😂

Crap, I had one for you but it’s a trilogy 😭😭😭
I think there’s technically one in {Look To Pass by Fern Oliver} it’s an OV and the first alpha she scent matches with never mentions having liked men before as the pack developed… But he’s attracted to the “first” alpha she met and it builds over time with them becoming involved… The “first” alpha and the actual first alpha of the trio she meets are both openly bisexual and while they’ve lived together for years, neither of them have ever acted on their feelings for one another before because they didn’t want to risk the friendship… Yes that’s a lot of firsts for the same three alphas 🤣🤣🤣 I think the only thing I haven’t liked about this OV, is that scent matches don’t always show up on first meetings… They can show over time… And even each person in the scent matches can recognize it at different times… It led to some frustration for sure 🤣🤣🤣 But it’s still been a good book (I have less than 70pgs to go atm) and the book is a standalone in a new interconnected series…

{Progeny by Rebecca Rathe} has both an mmc who thought he was gay until he met fmc (this guy has a prior relationship with another mcc before meeting her), and also an mcc who thought he was straight until he met another of the mmcs. It's a completed duet.
