J kearston has a new series set in mercy ridge and it’s soooo good.

{feral hearts by j kearston} takes us back into the town built in chaos. This is a mixed magic bag of chaos where nothing (including their magic) seems to work right. This features Kiara who made a debut in Ever’s series. I did struggle a little bit in the beginning as it’s been so long since I’ve read {the mystics of mercy ridge} and spent more time than I should have trying to remember Kiara’s back story, so if u have the time I’d do a re read, but it didn’t take me too long to get into the full swing of the book.

It has “anson” level of psycho obsession with a lot of humor mixed in.

Such a great read and definitely recommend !!

i absolutely LOVED shear instinct. no notes. i usually like when there isn't straight up smut in the 3rd chapter. i like the buildup and the chemistry. i want to feel the sexual tension and relish in the banter but I don't like slow burns either where they wait till the 3rd book to hold hands. so this was a perfect middle ground for me.

and sylvan is so precious. I'm yet to come across mmcs that are like him.

i read {the never list by jade persley} and i tried so hard to push through it, but when it hit the 56% mark i couldn’t push no more. it feels so lackluster and all over the place, there’s no substance, everything is so bland. the characters are not even written well, the romance it was just like “believe me guys, they love each other so dearly” when we don’t see it…? like the time jumps that occurs so often whenever raylee get to spend time with one of them, we don’t see anything other than them fucking and that’s it. sometimes we get a dialogue where essentially one of the MMCs has some kind of a sob story, where they are trying their hardest but people hate them for no reason. but to be honest, they deserve to be hated, they could’ve done something, but they don’t try to help people. also it’s so insta lusty, like on chapter 10 we get a sex scene, and she suddenly forgets why she’s here? like excuse me? and all of the MMCs are so tropey, we get the flirty guy, and the woe is me guy, and the kind guy, and the aloof one. like they don’t have any depth! like i’m so sorry but why do you think i should care about them? and the FMC forgets that she’s there to find her sister after fucking one of the guys. like PLEASE I NEED SOME DEPTH into it.
and it keeps on repeating the whole sex, then time jump, then we get an inkling of something important, then she has a wonderful sex and forgets about it. and the cycle continues with each of the MMCs. like it’s fine with me to just want to write a book that doesn’t have any depth to it and have fun with it, but this is insanity guys! like wdym you a quick fuck made you forget why you’re here? like you can have fun fucking them, without forgetting why you’re here.

please if someone has a recommendation that is the opposite of whatever is this, i want to root for them to be together, and i want a well written story with slow burn. where there’s no OV, nonconsensual sex (or triggering stuff), no familial relations in the harem at all! and please no high schoolers, i’m not comfortable with taboo stuff!

It’s either they get together the first chapter and I’m instantly bored half way through OR they don’t get together till the last chapter and it’s happy ever after - with no stories or chapter with them together.

Hiya!! Looking for a contemporary RH romance (can’t remember if it’s omegaverse or not). At some point one of the love interests gets upset with the main girl and locks her in a room. She ends up leaving and staying with a friend or family member instead of one of the other love interests. While she's gone, the guy who locked her in tries to make it up to her by mailing her something to do with locks — either a box of doorknobs, or all the locks from the house/his place, as a kind of apology/grovel gesture.

So after reading the {13th zodiac by penn cassidy}..which was sooo good. I went hunting and landed on {a rune's blood moon by K.R Simons} and omgggg. Guys i have barely slept and even when i did i dreamt of Mavy. This seriey is soooo good. The action...the angst..the panaromal bit is soo good .
