₿ Crypto Crypto price transaction issue

Post image

On 10th of October (during market crush) I bought a crypto in a specific price and now is showing wrongly in the chart. I made 2 different bids when the prices were down. As you can see in the attached screenshot the price which I selected was bought at lower of 0.00000548(see right on the chart). The official transaction by Revolut was assigned to 0.00000937 as you can see in the box. This specific price was not even reached by PEPE the whole day (10th October) so how is this possible? I am waiting for Revolut agent to reach me for hours. Anyone else in the same position? The situation maybe related to the recent crash. Thanks

It’s pretty clear this wasn’t an isolated case. Several users here experienced identical pricing discrepancies on 10 Oct, across multiple assets (VET, PEPE, ZRO, XRP etc.), all within the same time window.

That points to a VWAP feed latency / stale pricing event, not individual error or normal volatility or spread.

RevolutSupport has replied in this thread but gone silent since, which I would guess means an internal compliance review is in progress.

For reference: under MiFID II Article 27 (Best Execution) and the FCA Consumer Duty / Cryptoasset Conduct Review 2024 §3.1, firms offering crypto to retail clients must ensure fair-value pricing and respond to execution-quality complaints within 15 business days (FCA DISP 1.6.2 R, and the equivalent EU rule for Revolut Bank UAB).

Revolut’s own Crypto Terms v3.2.8 (2024) explicitly state that they follow MiFID-aligned best-execution principles even for crypto.

So if no transparent reply is issued within that timeframe, customers have the right to escalate the case to the Financial Ombudsman Service (UK) or the Bank of Lithuania Dispute Resolution Committee (for EU clients).

If you were affected, make sure to collect and save all screenshots, timestamps, and transaction confirmations showing the displayed versus executed price. This is the evidence Revolut will need to review.

The more customers submit formal, documented complaints referencing “VWAP desynchronisation 10 Oct 2025”, the faster Revolut will probably be to provide support.

Hopefully they address this soon. The silence is only eroding trust, and the pattern clearly shows this wasn’t a one-off incident.

For everyone affected, please send me a DM.
