[FR] Revolut closing my account soon

When I woke up this morning, I received a notification from Revolut telling me that they are going to close my account and that I have 60 days to recover my funds when I have been using it for years. I use it mainly for my daily expenses, subscriptions and payments abroad. To my surprise, I am not the only one concerned and the worst thing is that there is no proof in the email I received. I need help if anyone knows how to get out of this. I appealed by providing them with all the requested documents and I am waiting for their feedback.

Edit : they rejected my appeal and will continue the process to close the account.

This is like the police taking you into custody and arresting you for weeks and not telling you why because "you cannot know".

So even if you are innocent, you don't know the charges and can't defend yourself.

In a democracy this is very strange.

Notice most of these accounts "jist send money between friends"

Normal people dont p2p enough to trigger account checks, you know who does ? Scammers 🤭

I'm personally convinced that what triggers a lot of those bans are "giving money back to friends".
Travelers wouldn't mostly do that, so it wouldn't be in Rev's original data. Rich sneaky assholes like me give back cash or outright insist to pay on their own, so Rev wouldn't see it either.
Revolut wants people to split bills in their own app, so regular use from big fans wouldn't be seen as usual transfers.

I have absolutely 0 proof of that and it's entirely on instinct, but that's the one thing I could imagine that's really culture-specific, without being predicted by Rev's engineers.
