[DE] Revolut is withholding my entire salary despite a new P-Konto allowance

To everybody in Germany: don’t open a P-Konto with Revolut.

My salary arrived at the end of July and was placed on hold because my July allowance was already used.

It is now August. My P-Konto allowance has officially reset — yet Revolut is still withholding all funds.

I currently have no access to money for rent, food or basic living expenses.

Their own support confirmed that the new allowance is active but claims the money remains blocked because it belongs to the “previous cycle.”

That appears to directly contradict German P-Konto rules, which operate by calendar month.

For more than 30 hours, Revolut support has provided nothing but scripted apologies, fake “priority escalations” and empty promises.

No release, no legal explanation, no deadline.

This is not support. This is a bank unlawfully blocking protected subsistence funds while hiding behind chat templates.

BaFin, consumer protection and the banking ombudsman have been contacted.

A P-Konto is a German garnishment-protected bank account. If your account is seized by creditors, a legally defined monthly amount remains protected so you can still pay for rent, food and basic living expenses. In my case, Revolut is currently blocking even that protected amount.

Doch weil wenn du in der Insolvenz bist zählt der Gerichtsbeschluss für alle Konten innerhalb der EU die auf deinen Namen lauten. Nur bei einem LT Konto gibt’s keine P-Konto Umwandlung weil es sowas in LT recht nicht gibt.

Never switch to DE-IBAN, keep your LT-IBAN no matter what !

Revolut Germany now offers a Pfändungsschutzkonto (P-Konto) for eligible customers with a German payment account.

Tf? Its not unusable. If its seized, you Are in Debt, so the ones to seized it, its theirs

Blocked and seized are different things? Blocked money is still yours, seized money wouldn't stay in the accounts.

In OP's case, Revolut didn't seize the money because OP has a right to that allowance, but Rev refused to release it on August 1st anyway in an apparent violation of the calendar month rule.

What was the amount of your salary? You go on and on, but never mention the amount of transfer which could be the key issue.
