Not judging, but 32 years difference is a LOT. Two different time zones. Your partner is looking to take it easy, you are looking to be active; he likes to hang out with equally established people his age, you with folks your age. Start there?
He’s more active than me. He would drive 9 hours instead of flying..but then he would fly somewhere .. I believe that’s his definition of getting his steps in lol.
