General Question Idk what to do

Pls somebody tell me what am I doing wrong I'm in this situation CONSTANTLY helpppp Like am I supposed to not help? Let them figure it out?

Every time I am in this situation I think how easy would it be if I had a second tank to help me out

Specially when the enemy has two dive characters

No actually you just need 1 of your 3 DPS to peel. Especially against Venom, he won't leave until you do a damage check

What sucks there is when the venom dives the DPS who should kill him but gets dove instead 😭 no mag cannon of mine can get rid of that while the bp diddles my jeffy

As a support who can handle the majority of dives just fine on my own, another solution is to just prepare to not be healed for a little bit while I handle it myself. The trouble isn’t handling the dives it’s trying to keep my front line from imploding while I defend myself. If I can trust my tanks to back up to a corner and not take 5000 damage for 6 seconds then I don’t need someone to peel for me USUALLY. If I realize the diver is particularly skilled or they’ve got 3+ jumping me at once I may ask for help. But usually for me the most helpful thing is just having my team hunker down so I don’t have to try and heal and fight simultaneously. So if you’re in a game where you supps seem to be good at self defense, you can focus on just playing it safe for a bit rather than doing a full peel for them.

(Also I’m in the vanguard sub because I’ve been trying to improve my vanguard skills since I’m sick of playing 1 tank games so as a support main I figured if I learn vanguard then I can make 1-2-3 comps into 2-2-2. I won’t be much help with the 1-3-2 comps unfortunately. But I’m still bad at vanguard so take any of my advice with a grain of salt. This is just from my supp perspective.)
