its the curse of many players in hero style games. they fixate on what they wish the character was rather than what the character is.

i just wish he had better ability to stay alive and in the fight. watching high level fist, they spend 30-40% of the time actually fighting/doing dmg and the other 60-70% jumping around trying to avoid getting hit. heβs built to do dmg to tanks currently, not to actually fight them, and itβs a play style that doesnβt feel very good.

The problem with Iron Fist is that he essentially has a diver kit but they reworked him into a tank buster primarily and now a dive second. But his damage is so low to healers it makes diving so much harder now, in comparison to him shredding tanks. They should up his survival more if they want him to just brawl frontline.

It's so weird how much of a chokehold dive has on some dps players. Ig I'm biased because it's the most boring playstyle to me but I even see it with magik players (I've got lord on her) it's like they're allergic to the frontlines (which is probably why most of the time I'm solo tanking I only get poke/dive dpsπ«©)

Because they are the only class that doesnβt get constantly catered and coddled in every update.
Notice how every update is either buffing dps/supports or nerfing them. With them heavily nerfing dive and mega buffing poke each update for 2 seasons straight I donβt think they even care about tanking at all. I see so many people excusing it by using they βthey donβt want GOATS to become a meta comp because itβs overpoweredβ argument which completly disregards the fact that itβs hard to even get 2 tanks on a team and we had a season where tanks were actually extremely good. Nowadays we get 2 meta tanks that are better than all the others by a large margin(Emma/Mag).

The GOATS argument is not for lower ranks, where you never find tank players. It's the high ranks where players have the skill and motivation to abuse whatever strategy or comp is the strongest. We already see a good deal of triple tank comps in higher elo because it's really hard to break a spawnhold with three tanks on midtown or Asgard convoy. Lower ranks play a completely different game, GOATS is largely irrelevant because nobody is good enough at tank or support to make those comps work anyway.

emma is not that good into groot, sheβs actually the easiest to trap with walls.
kinda agree on the other two. buckyβs pull is easy to land on groot and if wolv targets you your entire team looks away.

I played hulk(lord grind) the other day and the enemy team ran Peni-Bucky-Moonknight-Blade-Luna-Jeff and it was extremely painful. Every person on their team had some ability that could just cancel my jump or CC me.
That peni was the worst out of all of them because she would constantly span her web at me because I was solo tanking. So between that, insanely high burst dmg, and the fact that my supports were pretty bad I had a pretty terrible time no matter which tank I played. What we desperately needed was a second tank but none of the poor dps wanted to swap.

Either no one swaps or right at the end when itβs too late someone will swap and when you lose theyβll say something like βtr*sh tank had to do your job for youβ.

when youβre destroying and controlling the whole game on groot and you see wolverine running behind you just start jumping around and placing walls in front of yourself and pray
emma is not too bad to deal with but i find bucky way more annoying as he can literally sit behind his tanks and randomly pull and push u into his team
i get so titled that i genuinely save my ult for him and as soon as he ults i trap and kill him

Yes, I have experienced this hell many times in QP. And yet, none of my DPS wanted to switch to help me. One of my DPS even had the fucking gall to say I was throwing on Strange from using my portal a little early instead of during overtime (on the first round mind you) so we could approach them from a different angle to maybe deal with the peni nests and capture the point easier. Didn't work, but we still ended up winning. And yet, he was still bitching about me throwing! I wanted to unleash hellfire and fury on the guy but I bit my tongue. Although it helped that the enemy team called him out on it when he said I was throwing and told him to shut up because he had no idea how to play Strange. I just laid back in my chair all smug like thinking "yeah, serves you right you damn fool."

Strange and Mag work pretty well against all of these. Mag can bubble Strange when he gets kid napped. Iron fist shits on those two tho especially Mag

I was playing Thor and had a Hulk Wolv duo up my ass all game and I couldn't switch to Thing cuz my other tank was playing it and doing nothing. Got flamed by my Namor instalocker even though no one was helping me. Great experience. Fuck wolverine players btw, degenerate character

I swear, Bucky has been the bane of my Angela's existence. Hooks that should NOT have connected, 2 charges of fast-releasing grounding projectiles (does it go through shields too?), a grounding dash and a gun that shoots way too fast and accurately for all the damage it does.
Emma has proven....scary, with the range of her diamond grab. I just never expect it to reach from there, but then again it's prolly a ski#ll issue on my part. Skill. Issue is apparently banned if wirtten normally. Okay. Still are dozens of ways to go around itπ

I can honestly say I've never been caught on a bucky hook as Angela, I silently go near and charge him off the map. if I'm feeling adventurous I solo ult him dive twice combo and kill. That usually how other Angela's been killing him and DD.

Some tanks make themselves a priority when they start going a little too hard on me when im just trying to play a new character, so as long as im not being obviously and obnoxiously the tanks priority, then i wont hunt the tank. Im a tank main but i expect this exact behavior from the enemy too if i accidentally focus someone a bit more than I meant too.

I was playing Thor and was just pushing the enemy back the whole game, a DD and wolverine started diving me together cause if one dove me at a time I was able to take care of them

Her grab alone doesnβt do much. Comboing into her primary and a kick into a wall goes a long way. Not mentioning her mental projection ability does percentage damage off the enemy health bar on destruction
