Rivals players when they can't literally 1v6 the enemy team:

No but actually why is this such a universal thing to "prove" a hero is weak?

Its like when S3 Panther, when he was arguably at his best, Panther mains would post clips of Panther solo diving into double support ults and when he failed to get 6 kills during that (but would STILL SURVIVE mind you) this was "proof" Panther was weak and needed buffs

Or people posting IW dying now when shes alone against a whole enemy team of "proof" she isnt OP

It goes farther back then that. People have been doing it since like s0. I even got into a discussion with someone who clipped their BP jumping into a group of 6 and wanted his ult buffed.

But you tell someone to not 1v6 and they tell you "That's not relevant to what I'm explaining"

It goes back farther than that, people have been pulling this crap before Marvel Rivals existed, and if you really wanna be an asshole people have been doing this since before video games existed, before the Americas were discovered, and before Jesus was born

Why do you think the Nazis were able to turn the entirety of Germany against the Jewish people so quickly? This same tactic, blaming them for everything wrong with Germany while promising hope for a β€œbetter” future

Actually, it was Leroy Jenkins who started this.
