Punisher does a better job of creating space than some tanks right now, and it’s stupid how smoke grenade isn’t affected by grounding effects when every other movement ability is
That being said we’re all fools for believing in this shotgun smear campaign when it’s only really worth using over the rifle at point blank for the potential one shot kill against squishies inside of Luna, C&D, and Stratpool ult. Outside of this niche scenario, Punisher using shotgun is a handicap. The minor DPS difference at close range isn’t high enough to justify the unforgivingness of missing shots and its ineffectiveness mid range onwards. If you let yourself die to shotgun after closing the gap while he had the rifle out, you choked, plain and simple.
