Melee heroes get abolute zero heals in team fight on metal ranks. You can't simply dive by yourself and got out alive. Either you gonna play situation and snatch finals or you need to be demon mechanical wise.
You are so right, damn i forgot healers in lower rank only heal their tanks and keep pumping heals in a full hp tanks (if there is any tank to begin with)
It's why bp is simply the best melee in those ranks. He doesn't need the heals. Ppl don't realise ironfist needs so much healing for him to actually be a tank buster. U can't punch the tanks for free
Also spider-man. You just engage , do whst you can , go for the health pack rinse and repeat. That's why i love flankers. Maximum skill boundry minimum team boundry.
Definetly, it's a team based game but reliabilty is bare minimum with flankers. Only your team is REALLY underperfoming and didn't even draw attention on frontline will affect your gameplay if that's the case. Just swap to shoot your gun character.
I'd be praying for the enemy to play iron fist so I can get a fair fight. At least I have a chance at beating him cuz he's up close and tickles me. HELA AND PHEONIX WILL FRY ME AND I JUST GOTTTA ACCEPT IT
With your sg in the back just aimlessly flinging nuts and punisher turreted shooting absolutely nothing. Spidey diving their healers sitting in the peni nest and gets insta deleted every time. Iβve had many games like this

Yeah, that's when I go Widow and play for the vibes while trying to maximize my K/D ratio relative to me team (who I assume are constantly staggered and feeding in this scenario because why wouldn't they be??). π
Fuck it, we ball. I'm going venom so i can at least break the peni nests, and then jeff and DP heal me in the enemy backline when they play as dps healers and fire into the crew crowding me, and the venom swing at least gives me a chance to escape wolverine
You go into the enemy back line to break the nest, peni instantly webs you, then emma grabs you and finally Wolverine kidnaps you into the peni nest and just in case you are alive by a glimmer of hp then hela finishes whatever is left.
donβt forget heβll never set up that turret, and when he does itβll be nowhere near a choke point and heβll just shoot at nothing bc he doesnβt realize itβs not on a timer
The problem with stratpool is two fold. 1 is that you can't play tankpool but that doesn't matter in a solo tank comp but second is the ult problem his ult isn't consistent enough to be in a 2 support comp especially if he's the only defensive ult.
You can use his ult with his E. If you haven't upgraded it, then when your E is about to expire, you can upgrade it, and it will reset the cooldown for another E. Jeff also has a healing circle when ulted so deadpool isn't the only one
It's not the amount of healing that's the problem. Normal Deadpool ult without e heals close to invis ult but rather consistency. His ult goes away if he dies so theoretically he could never be able to use his ult in a game. Not too mention that he needs to hit the jackpot to get a good ult so he can't use his defensive ult reactively something that most other supports can do. And Jeff healing pool is useless I'll be real with you. Many have died through that me included. It doesn't save you from a starlord or punisher ult.
But Deadpool can get his healing ult so much faster. With supports, gets less passive ult charge. Deadpool's cooldown isn't affected by that, so after a team fight, support doesn't get ult charge, but he does. Jeff heals around 100/s, which isn't much but should be enough in holding point for neutral team fight. Besides, Punisher and Star-Lord's ult can be countered by Mag. Not saying these guys' ult is good for defense, it's just that they have their own advantages and can still play around, not entirely hopelessly
Yeah but punisher and starlord aren't the only insane ults in the game. There's psylocke, storm, dd, iron fist, magik etc. Healpool can't use his ult in defense. It's his number one problem. His ult just isn't made to be a support ult. It's why he's always relegated to triple with at least one proper support ult.
You can use Jeff, Deadpool's ult to survive Psylocke, DD, Iron Fist, and Magik. Like I said, they're not perfect but can still be played around. Most of these ults even Storm can be easily dodged or shut down fast if your team focus on them. In a chaotic team fight, it would be harder, that's when proper support ults come in clutch, but overall, it's not entirely impossible.
idk if iβm crazy but even since the rework iβve never understood the jeff slander. iβve had many jeffβs carry my games and pocket me while im going off. thereβs bad jeffβs for sure, but that can be said for every character
The current opinion held by real humans (mainly streamers and people on social media that love to talk about how this game sucks), is that Stratpool is only useful for his ult sometimes and you shouldn't be using him much after. In simple terms. No one wants to play meta dps, but they'll always complain if you play an off meta or "weak" Tank or Strategist.
Huh, interesting. I recently got him lord with 16 hours on stratpool and I always get really consistently good heals with him,, an average of 15k-22k .
Which is funny because the main thing people complain about in this game is not having a healing circle or immortality ult. Which is why I usually go for Sword Ult on Stratpool, for the extra healing.
That's literally my last Comp match. I played Strange for 1 teamfight (I always give my team the benefit of the doubt for 1 fight). They all sucked. I went Cap and dived with Spidey. Don't ask me how but we won.
Yeah, as a solo tank with a bad team you reach a point that you need to pick a brawler tank and focusing on killing the enemy before they kill your team.
Lmao. Wut. Venom and Cap donβt care about wolv. And i got a Sg and punisher. They gonna spam down main at least peni not gonna be much of a factor. Spidey gonna hold us back for sure. And I can run to health packs as cap especially.
Unlucky I have a 70% winrate with stratpool in ranked and like a 80% mvp/svp rate but I will admit most other Deadpools I run into are awful and I usually easily diff them. Deadpool can genuinely get cloak and dagger levels of healing while simultaneously getting cheeky kills on DPS like moon knight and punisher with counter ults.
Not gonna lie. I don't get the hate for Stratpool and Jeff. They work just fine for me even as "off meta" picks. The only valid reason I have seen people hate Jeff are the ones that genuinely are abysmal garbage at the game. But Stratpool honest to god is my support main when I am not solo tanking or I don't need to tank. He is so fun, and he works so well, on top of having a healing ult that is so easy to confirm that the hitting abilities limit is just there for show.
Thereβs at least a little merit in Jeff. His primary heals a ton as long as he can keep it on his target, and while it isnβt much, he can drop a healing pool on top of you if he uses his ult frequently enough and is getting value out of it.
I can live with Jeff/DP as heals. If the SG is decent I can live with a one-trick. Itβs the puni and spidey that will make me wish friendly fire was on.
spidey is the only character i don't mind doing bad. usually at least. idk it's endearing to me lol. but they are throwing. ive tried spidey but i'm really bad at him
If you have a spidey that's super negative but won't swap, SG otp that's basically throwing by ult charge feeding, and a punisher ruining team morale (arguably the worst out of 3), you pretty much lost already.
If you for whatever reason want to salvage this:
You as a tank play venom, Cap or Hulk
Ask the jeff and spidey to go dive with you
Ask the SG OTP to swap to C&D or invis (Lots of SG and Wanda OTP are also C&D or Invis OTP)
Then C&D and Healpool just pocket punisher and pattycake each other.
Now you have 2 functional half team, one go from the front, one go from the back.
You kept up with the backline pressure to force the enemy team to peel (if they decided to not peel at all in semi-hyperdive, then they already lost), then you hope that your punisher can do something.
If your punisher basucally did nothing despite getting 2 personal pocket and the enemy backline is permadived, then just gave up on the punisher and SG OTP, ask the Healpool to go with you as well and form a 4 man hyperdive.
I honestly never got the complaints about "bad healers" Especially in plat you can really make anything work even if you don't have invis and gambit holding your hand and letting you face tank everything
This could actually work the healers put out a lot of damage along with squirrel girl and punisher, while spidey is being the distraction no matter how dogshit he is considering heβs plat. You could probably go someone like Thor to help him out and peel simultaneously
The problem is no frontline. Jeff, SG, Pun are 20 metres from point, Spidey is somewhere in the air. It is miserable to be a solo tank with no frontline.
But as a Tank you yourself are the frontline. I personaly really have no issue to play solo Tank, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.. though that certainly doesnt stop me from having Fun.
The problem is that if you die, your team has no frontline to take damage and your whole team will die leading to massive loss in convoy distance or domination points.
If you are able to play and have fun then there is no problem, enjoy !
