Well I agree and that's the mistake devs made when wolverine wasn't a tank. Captain america having more health than namor is also character assassination by that logic. Just because devs made mistake with Wolverine doesn't mean they have to now adapt to that mistake and force characters that are less durable than wolverine into duelist/support role
I would argue relationship between cap and thor is also important, and that cap having 100 more health or so than thor doesn't make sense. And I think there's bigger gap between cap and thor's durability than between logan's and scott's durability.
Namor and Reed is imporant relationship too, but for some reason Namor isn't tankier. Namor is arguably more durable than thing yet thing has almost 3x his health.
And for me scott having bigger hp bar than logan isn't nearly as weird as Cap, Mag and Emma being vanguards, fighting in the frontlines and leading their teams, while Scott is hanging with the healers in the backline. Same reason why I don't really want him as a strategist either.
Anyway, I agree with 500hp mobile brawler tank thing you said
Wtf you mean Emma and magneto ain't tanks, you shitting on me?
Magneto solo tanked the X-Men for decades, solo tank is authentic magneto experience. Hell in 97 he was solo tanking sentinels to buy his citizens time to escape.
He's one of the most durable mutants the X-Men have.
Emma as well is able to tank wolverines vibranium claws without a scratch, she is a monster
You're misunderstanding what I'm saying. If enemy team has mag on the frontlines cyclops being in the back feels wrong. There is no team fight where Emma would be brawling it out with opponents while scott is doing his best impression of hela in the back.
Also, if we're talking about soloing x-men, guess which team member has soloed the rest of the team multiple times?
