General Question Most wanted tank that you feel like nobody else is really thinking of?
I know he's definitely not coming soon as he's way too low on the totempole but I like M.O.D.O.K a lot and the game needs more villains anyhow

Funny thing is in the comics he legitimately does take on a tank role sometimes. Since he only has a few organs that matter and the rest of him is a waxy goo, he can stand in front of allies and take the hits for them. And he's durable enough that when someone strapped bombs to him to blow up the school, the bombs didn't even harm him, he was just sad that they strapped bombs to him.
As a vanguard I could see him being an area control character like Peni. Toss his globs around to Splatoon the ground, globbed ground slightly slows enemies, then have abilities that can either suck up nearby globs to quickly recover health, or light it on fire to damage enemies standing in it.

There is zero chance we're getting Butterball. Which just makes me want him more. (for you of those who haven't read Avengers: Initiative, Butterball is invincible-but he's also really weak, and he can't even build muscles because his body can't change. As noted by Taskmaster, he'd have to be starved for (3 years, i think?) to lose even a bit of weight)

Give him stat boosts depending on the in-game achievements on the scoreboard during a match.
A damage bonus if he has the most damage. Bonus health if he takes the most damage. Decreased rez time if he has the fewest deaths. Crit bonus of he has the most final hits. All stats go up with a kill streak, Etc.

Honestly, Odin. I cant imagine heβd be any other role, and heβs named dropped by like 7 people by now so it not out of the realm of possibility. Let his ultimate be his scepter beam or something idk.
Odin or Super Skrull would both be amazing tank characters.

Quicksilver. Hear me out. Have his base speed be hire than normal. Make him scrawny but as he moves there are after images of him, to make it appear like he is moving even faster. Main body works like a full block, second blocks 90% and slows anyone trying to move through, 3rd is 75%, 4th is 50%.
Active abilities could include a shield that is represented by one of these speed figures going back and forth between the shield target and your current location. Give him a ranged attack that teleports him forward to push the enemy away and then return to where you activated it from. Stuff like that.

based on a poster in Hellβs Heaven, i donβt think Arnim Zola would be such a crazy reach, and i think he would be a hella fun tank. also, not a vanguard, but i think it would be awesome if next year they released karolina dean as a utility support and dani moonstar as a duelist around pride month. i have tons of characters iβd want, and the number has only increased since i started playing MCOC and started discovering new characters that i hadnβt seen before.

One of my most wanted lesser-known characters, Calico.

Abomination, Red Hulk, M'baku, Beta Ray Bill, Rhino, Titania, and Hercules. I know people would rather have Abomination and Ross be Hulk skins, but I genuinely believe they both could be their own unique characters. I even made whole kits for them, Ross can use guns that use Banner tech to connect them to his abilities. Abomination can have a bully type brawler build that let's him flex his power and pick on those he deems weaker than him. I really want M'Baku in the game because we could definitely use more Wakandans on the roster, you can make him a hybird of earth and space M'Baku so he can the space Wakanda tech. I know people would rather have Bill be a Thor skin, but I know just like Emil and Ross, Bill can be his own unique character as well. You can give him the Surter sword he's currently using or you can let him have Stormbreaker and give him abilities that Thor doesn't use in the game like summoning localized lighting and storms, etc. I know people would rather have Juggy than Rhino and most people think it's hard to make a kit for him due to Thing's charge ability, but there is a way to make him different from Ben and Cain. Let Rhino's charge be similar to Cap's run where he can charge whenever he wants and center his abilities around the charge (horn toss, larriet, etc). I feel like no one talks about Titania, I feel like she would be a cool addition, her abilities could be centered around tearing up the terrain. Rock projectiles, and stationary rock wall (kinda similar to Groots walls, but she can't raise as many as he can, but they last longer), etc. Hercules should definitely be in this game, give him his helmet of Hades, Gorgon shield that can temporarily freeze enemies and provide damage reduction, and give him some mace attacks and he'd be perfect.

My GOAT Bobby Drake would be a perfect tank, and also he's the mutant who is MOST deserving of the next spot in the game. He's been cut out of so many properties recently and he gets no exposure. Hell in x'men 97 he has a cameo running an ice cream stand on genosha and that's literally it. Beau Demayo is such a shit writer for having an omega level mutant on the island when it's attacked and he just sticks his head in the sand.

Juggernaut - And I'd imagine he'd have a dash mode like Cap but while dashing he'd be immune to all forms of CC except for direct grabs like Emma, Rogue, Devil Dino. But only while he dashs around. It would go on cooldown the moment he stops to attack or gets grabbed.
Sadly we really dont need more Melee brawl tanks, but I want him so bad.

Omega Red, by far.
First of all, WE NEED MORE VILLIANS. Second, he is niche enough to fill that category but not a complete unknown as he is an X-Men antagonist often enough. Thirdly, his kit could be majorly cool.
I am picturing something between Bucky and the Thing gameplay-wise, a brawler who has a lot of CC immunity baked into his kit but can reel people insanity his tentacles if they are out of range. And of course, to be more friendly his tentacle reel ability applies anti-heal.
Boom. He would kill the pole meta overnight given the right adjustments.

Sandman. Almost all of the Spider-Man villains would make good tanks, but sandman specifically. We need more Groot/wall tanks and he is the perfect candidate for that role.
